SOTO is a label that is reimagining bridal wear for those seeking to express and embody their authentic selves. The pieces are designed for lovers that are rebellious, creative and dare to dream of a wedding outside the norm. Based between Toronto, Canada and Mexico City, Soto are a husband-and-wife duo Enrique and Boni Soto, heavily inspired by their Latinx roots.
SOTO's debut Unbridled Collection includes versatile bridal designs that channel the spirit of the Mexican and Colombian cultures Enrique and Boni grew up in - evoking old world romance and new world rebellion with striking designs that make space for lovers to bring their personalities to the forefront. Pieces include a range of styles and silhouettes that speak to those wanting something modern and non-traditional, such as a beautifully maximalist ruffled gown with detachable sleeves, a two piece set with a corset top and wide leg pants, and a key-hole jumpsuit with dramatic sleeves. Soto are also soon releasing a new range called SOTO Hardware - including fine jewellery, veils, head pieces and gloves.
What would you like couples to know about your collection?
We craft fashion-forward bridal pieces that evoke passion and a sense of romantic rebellion. Our inaugural range is The Unbridled Collection. We offer five different designs that speak to brides with strong personalities and a keen eye for style. However, our specialty is custom work!
Our aim is to empower our clients to be true to themselves while breaking stigmas on custom gowns being unattainable. We are interested in working with those who dare to call themselves a bride and challenge the status quo.
Where are your boutiques based?
At SOTO we connect directly with the brides, excited to partner and meet our brides at our studio both in Toronto and Mexico.

How would you describe SOTO Bride's style?
SOTO’s bridal wear is fuelled by the spirit of the Mexican and Colombian cultures we grew up in: fierce, passionate, independent. We wanted to create versatile bridal designs that channel that energy for theauthentic bride, evoking old world romance and new world rebellion with striking silhouettes that make space for brides to bring their personalities to the forefront.

All of our gowns and accessories are designed and crafted by our team in house.

Our source of inspiration is always the bride herself.

We are so passionate and interested in working with those who dare to call themselves a bride and challenge the status quo. We want to work with brides who are willing to look outside the box.
