Tell us about Getta Vision!

Getta Vision is my way of telling love stories through photography. I capture weddings with a focus on emotion, connection, and all the beautiful moments in between. My goal is not only to document how a wedding day looked, but to preserve how it felt, creating images that feel honest, artistic, and timeless.

What would you like couples to know about you?

I graduated with a degree in Feature Film Production, and I think cinema will always be part of the way I see the world. It shaped my eye long before photography became my profession.

Photography has been a journey of self-discovery for me. I am fascinated by people, emotions, and the invisible connections between us, nature, and everything around us. I believe photographs can become a path back to ourselves. They remind us how a moment felt, who we were, and what truly mattered.

I genuinely love connecting with people. Building trust and creating a comfortable atmosphere is a big part of my process because the most beautiful photographs happen when people feel free to simply be themselves.

Where are you based?

I am based in Cyprus and photograph weddings across the island, internationally, and wherever life takes me.

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely. Traveling has always been one of my greatest sources of inspiration. Whether it is a wedding in Cyprus or somewhere across the world, I am always excited to discover new places, meet new people, and tell beautiful stories along the way.

How would you describe your style?

My style is a blend of nostalgic documentary and effortless editorial.

I am drawn to the in-between moments. The fleeting glances, the wind in your hair, the way someone reaches for your hand without thinking. The moments that cannot be staged.

I photograph both digitally and on film, and I love the balance between the two. My work is emotional, artistic, and cinematic, with a focus on creating images that feel honest and timeless.

What is your most memorable career moment?

It's difficult to choose just one moment. For me, the most memorable part of this journey is being trusted to document one of the most important days in someone's life. Every time a couple tells me that their photographs brought them back to a feeling, a memory, or a moment they had forgotten, I am reminded why I do what I do.

What inspires you?

Love. Endless Cyprus summers. Swimming in the sea. My family. Our forest house. My Cavapoo Frankie and my cat Josephine. Dreaming. Nature. Old music.

Cinema has always been one of my biggest inspirations. Wong Kar Wai, John Cassavetes, Paolo Sorrentino, Truffaut, Godard, and Lost in Translation are all part of my visual universe.

I am inspired by vintage treasures, ceramics, beautiful light, shadows on textures, clouds, architecture, people watching, and all those little everyday moments that most people walk past.

Mostly, I am inspired by people. Their stories, their energy, and the moments that exist only once.

How would you describe your working style?

Professional, calm, adaptable, and full of energy. I know when to quietly blend into the background and when to gently guide. My goal is always the same: to help couples feel comfortable, present, and completely themselves while I document their day as naturally as possible.

Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?

I photograph weddings using both digital and film cameras. Digital allows me to move seamlessly throughout the day and capture moments as they unfold, while film brings a softness, depth, and character that I absolutely love. Together they create a gallery that feels artistic, emotional, and deeply personal.

Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?

Yes. Every wedding is different, and I believe photography should reflect that. I offer flexible collections that can be tailored to each couple's plans, priorities, and vision for their celebration.

What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?

Film photography will always have a special place in my heart. There is something magical about slowing down, being intentional, and embracing the imperfect beauty that film creates. The texture, colours, and emotion it brings are impossible to replicate, and it adds another layer of depth to the stories I tell.

Where would you love to travel to for work?

Japan has always been at the top of my list. I am deeply inspired by its culture, aesthetics, architecture, and attention to detail. At the same time, I am open to anywhere in the world. The destination matters less than the people and the story waiting there.

Who is your dream client?

My dream clients are people who value connection over perfection. They are deeply in love, trust the creative process, and are not afraid to be fully themselves. They care more about meaningful moments than perfect poses and want photographs that feel honest, emotional, and true.

What is your advice to couples getting married?

Be present. The day will pass faster than you imagine. Let go of perfection, trust the people around you, and focus on what truly matters: celebrating your love with the people you love. The most meaningful moments are usually the ones you never planned for.
