Based in Adelaide, Satin Bow Events is a creative styling studio that is centred around conceptual, out of the box designs with an artistic approach. With a love for pushing boundaries through design, textiles and styling, Satin Bow Events brings a fresh approach to South Australian weddings.

Tell us about your business!

We love pushing boundaries through our design ideas, textiles and styling, while still weaving in touches of tradition so each event feels timeless, ages well and doesn’t just seem like yet another trend.

Being based in Adelaide, I found there was a real gap in the market for the artistic and elevated styling I was personally searching for as a bride and consumer myself. That’s ultimately where Satin Bow Events began from the idea of creating the kind of work I felt was missing locally, for couples who also gravitate towards more conceptual, editorial and artsy celebrations not typically seen in South Australia.

What would you like couples to know about you?

As an upcoming bride myself (November 2026), I understand the emotions, pressure and excitement that come with planning a wedding, which allows me to genuinely connect with my clients throughout the process.

I always have my clients’ best interests at heart and strive to create something unique that still feels deeply personal to them. In my eyes, a wedding without feeling is just a styled shoot. The emotion and connection behind it is what truly makes it memorable.

Where are you based?

I am based in Adelaide, South Australia. (However, I am open to travelling if the client resonates with our work.)

How would you describe your style?

Our style is artsy and sculptural whilst also keeping that soft, romantic feel as the baseline for each concept or event we create.

Memorable moment in your career?

Probably the shoot I planned/creative directed and styled in October 2025. I teamed up with a friend of mine who is an amazing photographer (Mia Turner) and we truly created magic. I think at the time because of still being “green” as others described me, I was very underestimated. This gave me the opportunity to showcase what I could do without limitation. The response to the shoot was something I could not have even imagined. It made me feel respected as a newer stylist and completely seen for the art I’m capable of creating. A true pinch me moment. And still hearing people talk about it today, just shows that my work is valued.

What inspires you?

Honestly, art, textiles, sculptures, old architecture, painting and fashion design.

I have always been the most artistic person in my family. Having been passionate about fashion design since the age of 3, now at 27, I was eager to pursue something I was naturally talented in and felt drawn to within an industry I had come to love through my personal journey.

What is your favourite service you offer and why?

Most people who know me might assume that my favorite part is the textile work, and while that's certainly a top choice, I'd probably say it's the creative consulting with clients. I love hearing their vision and then expanding on it through custom concepts and ideas tailored specifically to them. There’s something really rewarding about taking the information they’ve given me and transforming it into something unexpected, unique and deeply personal that they may not have thought of on their own.

Who is your dream client?

Someone that comes to me, based on the work they’ve already seen of mine. A person who is open to new ideas and trusts that my work will align with their ultimate goals. And a client that wants to have fun with their styling, push the design further whilst also having confidence in me to ensure the result remains timeless, styling that won’t be looked back on as a regret or that they had wished they had done differently.

What is your advice for people getting married?

I have three pieces of advice that instantly come to mind!

If you don’t have a stylist or planner, please negotiate with your venue to steam their linen. It’s honestly astonishing how many venues skip this, and harsh squares can completely change the overall look and feel of a space in photos.

Book your favourite vendors. Spend that little bit extra knowing your day will actually feel and look the way you envisioned. Avoid sending screenshots of your favourite vendors’ work to cheaper suppliers in the hopes they can recreate it. if there’s a team you truly love and trust, book them. Your wedding day isn’t the time for guesswork.

At some point delete Pinterest. Use it to discover what you love, refine your style, and gather inspiration, absolutely. But eventually, too much inspiration can pull you further away from what actually feels personal to you as a couple. Your wedding should feel like your love story, not a collection of trends or someone else’s day recreated.

Where would you like to travel for work?

Anywhere where the venue has historic looking architecture and character!
