Tell us a little about yourselves!
We are Xavier and Ann-Sofie, a Belgian couple in our thirties. We are a very active couple with a large range of interests, what culminates in a lot of hobbies, crazy schedules and lot’s of laughter. People often describe us as an energetic, emotional and motivated couple, who want’s to take the best out of life and our friends.
Why did you decide to get married where you did?
Easy question, just visit Mallorca and you will know why! Also, a few years ago, our friends took us on a sailing trip around Mallorca, we felt in love with the island - and Xavier asked me to marry him here!
How many guests did you have?
45. (Although our Dj said we partied like we were well over 100!)
What was your budget?
Too much!
Tell us about your outfits!
Xavier's outfit was from Suit Supply and his watch was from Méraud.
Ann-Sofie's ceremony dress was from Belgian designer Eva Janssens with March 23 shoes. The metallic mini for the party was from a boutique called Boomboom Latem, with Morobé shoes.
Our rings are by Belgian jeweller Carrigi.
What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?
The most important aspect for planning our wedding was to have a get together with our closest friends, creating a fabulous time with a lot of laughter and memories to last a lifetime.
Were there any elements that were important for you to incorporate?
We wanted to make sure that our guest who hadn't been to Mallorca yet saw the beauty of the island. That’s why we chose a central location and did a few activities, including sailing the day before our wedding, so they could explore!
Any tips for couples getting married?
Try to chill, listen to each other and let your partner decide!!
Are there any vendors that you would like to tell us a little more about?
The most important thing is to surround yourself with people who know the location well. We had a fantastic team around us. With special thanks to Stephanie and Fede of The Sybarite Flamingo for spotting the fantastic venue Finca Es Càbas, for organising the activities, of course the wedding - and for putting us in touch with the incredible suppliers, and amazing people, who joined our family that day.
Ines Borgonjon our make-up artist, the florist Floristeria de Petra, the catering, the fantastic musicians and of course no party without the loco Paco Colombas. Thank you Jimena of Volvoreta for the amazing pictures, who made us the best photographic memory, from a very personal and artistic point of view. She proposed us to do the wedding from a very intimate and real point of view in analog with a digital support. The mix is pure magic!
Thank you Steph and Fico for being close and super professional. You made the day perfect and the wedding planning super exciting. It is essential to have people like them, who not only organize the best experience, but also give you all their love from the beginning.
