Weddings by Nato is a photography and cinematography duo founded by Nato and her partner, Dan. Grounded in analog tradition and shaped by documentary storytelling, the studio captures weddings with heart, momentum, and an editorial sensibility — honoring the beauty, spontaneity, and unmistakable human energy of every celebration.
What would you like couples to know about you?
Every photo and film we capture reflects the trust my couples place in me to authentically document their story. Whether it’s a small, intimate gathering or a large celebration, we love immersing ourselves in the energy of the day, blending a journalistic approach while being fully present in each moment.

Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, absolutely! Traveling inspires us so much and we love capturing the beauty of places around the world.
How would you describe your style?
We like to describe our style as having a documentary heart with an editorial twist. We love finding that sweet spot between timeless images and the ones that break the rules a bit — the kind that really capture the energy and emotion of the day.
What is your most memorable career moment?
Over time, we’ve realized our work is about more than just capturing a couple’s happiest day — it’s about preserving the people who mean the most to them. We often think about how a grandparent, once a baby themselves, is now watching their grandchild say “I do.” There’s something incredibly special about witnessing an entire story unfold in front of you, and for that reason, every wedding we capture becomes a memorable moment in our career.
What inspires you?
Lighting, the couple’s energy, fashion, architecture, nature, movement—anything that feels authentic and real, not staged.
How would you describe your working style?
Intuition is at the heart of everything I do. I aim to anticipate a couple’s needs while still staying true to the moment and capturing it authentically.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
Both! I shoot a hybrid of digital and film (medium & 35mm) and our video team shoots digital and Super 8.
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
Yes! I offer a personalized, a-la-carte approach to ensure couples can book a package that aligns with your needs and vision.
What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?
All our photo packages include both digital and film, which is essential to our aesthetic. For video, we love to combine digital and Super 8 to capture every moment in a unique way.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
Biarritz, Sicily, Hawaii, Bali, Costa Rica—anywhere tropical and romantic. Japan would be incredible too! We’re up for anything.
Who is your dream client?
We’re drawn to couples who are excited to be themselves and fully present in the day as it unfolds. We especially love when couples make style choices that reflect who they truly are, rather than simply following what’s trending.
How do you select music for your films?
Music plays a big role in setting the tone of our videos and making them feel personal. We ask couples to share their favorite songs and artists so we can incorporate music that reflects who they are as a couple and day!
What is your advice to couples getting married?
My advice to couples getting married is to hire the people you trust and let the day unfold naturally. Don’t let trends dictate your choices—stay true to yourselves and what you love. Have fun! Embrace the moments as they come, and everything else will fall into place.
