Tell us about your business!
Hi, we’re Misty’s — Lisa & Nora. Two best friends and wedding photographers based in Germany.
We document weddings in a way that feels honest, cinematic, and deeply personal — weaving together Super8 film, 35mm analog, and digital photography into stories that feel timeless, yet entirely yours.
Our journey began three years ago, though photography has lived in our hearts since childhood — when we’d borrow our grandparents’ cameras and experiment endlessly. We never thought it could become a career until we documented our first wedding, which felt nothing short of magic. Weddings unite everything we love: people, fleeting moments, and the power to create keepsakes that last forever.
We don’t just observe; we get involved. We laugh with our couples, cry with them, dance a little, and stay grounded when things get chaotic. Think of us as friends with cameras, who happen to know how to capture the good stuff: the raw, the real, and the in-between.
What would you like couples to know about you?
We’ve known each other for a long time — our friendship is at the heart of everything we do. We first fell in love with photography by taking pictures of one another, and that playful curiosity still shapes our work today.
We’re always open to new adventures, never without laughter, and music is one of our love languages (especially old-school rock and the craziest dance hits). Beyond weddings, we find joy in traveling, hiking through mountains, and seeking inspiration in life’s small details.
Where are you based?
We’re based in Germany.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely. We love to travel through Europe and beyond, chasing light, landscapes, and love stories in the most beautiful places.
How would you describe your style?
Our style is a blend of documentary honesty and artful expression.
It’s alive, authentic, and a little edgy — with a love for nostalgic 80s/90s vibes.
We capture moments as they unfold, but also create space for couples who are into cool, artistic posing. Our images are timeless yet playful, cinematic yet intimate.
What is your most memorable career moment?
For us, it’s not about one specific moment but about the lasting connections. Some of the friendships we’ve made with our couples continue to this day, and hearing that they still treasure our images years later is the greatest reward.
What inspires you?
Inspiration is everywhere. In art, music, taste, light and shadow, colors, and conversations with people who carry meaningful stories. Movement fuels us — whether traveling, walking, or dancing. But inspiration also comes from stillness, from creating headspace and letting ideas arrive in their own time.
How would you describe your working style?
We’re more than photographers — we’re a friend and helping hand on your wedding day. We love to guide couples in the lead-up, sharing tips, refining timelines, and making sure everything feels calm and relaxed.
On the day itself, we stay open-minded and attentive to what matters most to you. We’re inspired by the flow of the celebration, capturing its essence while letting things unfold naturally.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
We shoot both, but our hearts beat a little faster for film. There’s magic in the uncertainty of a roll of film, in its texture and uniqueness.
We work with a variety of cameras — digital, 35mm film, medium format, Super8, and flash — blending them into a unique visual language. Digital gives us freedom to test and play, while film brings timelessness and emotion. For video, we exclusively use Super8mm, keeping it nostalgic and raw.
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
Yes. We offer several packages as a guideline for coverage and deliverables, but every wedding is unique, and so is our approach. Together with our couples, we craft a package that feels just right — whether that includes Super8 films, pre-wedding dinners or after-wedding shoots.
What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?
We especially love documenting an entire wedding weekend. It allows us to get to know you and your guests deeply, to blend in and make the camera invisible. That’s when the most authentic moments appear.
And of course, our hearts belong to analog photography and Super8 films — they carry a kind of magic that can’t be replicated.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
We’re open to every destination. On our dream-big list: New York and Japan.
So far, we’ve fallen in love with Sicily, the landscapes of Italy, Mallorca, the South of France and the mountains of Switzerland.
Who is your dream client?
Our dream couple is one who feels deeply and loves authentically. Someone who values art and trusts us to capture their story with honesty and creativity.
Whether they’re quirky, shy, rock ’n’ roll, or a little wild — what matters most is that they celebrate as themselves, with joy and love at the center.
How do you select music for your films?
Music is the heartbeat of a Super8 film. We ask our couples about genres or songs they love to get a sense of their vibe, but then we take time — often a lot of it — to find the perfect fit. The right song can make a film feel like a memory you’ve always carried.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
Let go of expectations and traditions that don’t feel true to you. Focus on the love you share and the joy of being surrounded by people who lift you up.
A wedding should feel like the celebration of your dreams — whether that’s an intimate dinner, a romantic ceremony, a wild dance floor, or just the two of you.
No matter how many plans you make, the day will always unfold differently than expected — and that is its true magic.
