Tell us about your business!
Hi, I’m Nina, a London-based wedding and editorial photographer. My journey into wedding photography started in a pretty unexpected way. I always found it fascinating, but never considered it as a career. I was happily working as a software developer when, during maternity leave, I bought my first professional camera—and I haven’t put it down since!
What started with taking portraits of family and friends quickly grew into a full-blown passion. I explored various photography styles, but weddings captured my heart and since 2017 I've been a full-time wedding photographer. There’s something magical about documenting the range of emotions and unique moments on a couple’s special day. Every wedding tells a new story, and I’m thrilled to capture it through my lens.
What would you like couples to know about you?
I’m pretty a logical person — I love things to be organized, structured, and simple. I’m for sure not a fan of chaos! This love for order definitely influences my photography style, helping me create clean and timeless images.
After 10 years of revisiting my own wedding photos, I create galleries with layers—some you'll love immediately, and others you'll cherish more as time goes on.
Where are you based?
I’m based in London, UK, and originally from Belarus, which adds a lovely multicultural touch to my approach.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely! I love travelling around the UK, Italy, and France and am excited to explore other destinations.
How would you describe your style?
I'm a storyteller and love blending different styles. During the ceremony and reception, I focus on capturing candid moments, for couple portraits, I may offer a bit of gentle guidance, while for the party, I love to take flash editorial shots. In short, my approach is timeless documentary photography with a pinch of elegance.
What is your most memorable career moment?
Early in my career, while living in Minsk, I visited London and offered to do a love story shoot for an adorable couple. I was beyond excited when they said yes! As we were shooting, they told me they were getting married that month. After returning home, I edited their photos and sent them off. To my delight, they asked me to come back to London to photograph their wedding! It was beyond anything I could have imagined, and I felt like the happiest person in the world. That was my first wedding in the UK. We’re still in touch, and I treasure the bond we’ve built.
What inspires you?
I’m fascinated by everything humans create—architecture, art, technology, fashion—it excites me!
When it comes to weddings, I’m especially inspired by the emotions and connections between people. Whether it’s a hug from your mom or dad, a couple spontaneously dancing or kissing, or friends cheering you on, I’ll run across the entire room to capture those moments.
And to whom I'm lying, a bride's dress and flower arrangements never left me untouched!
How would you describe your working style?
I once heard about two types of photographers: visionaries, who plan what they want to create, and reactionaries, who respond to the moments and people in front of them. I’m definitely a reactionary photographer!
Most of my photos focus on capturing the flow of the day, except for couple's and family's shoots, here I'm happy to help if needed. But mainly I prefer to stay in the background and be as unobtrusive as possible, letting you enjoy your day while I capture it naturally.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
I shoot digitally for its flexibility, but I adore the charm of film photography. That’s why I offer complimentary 1-2 35mm film rolls for all my couples. It’s adding a special touch to their galleries.
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
I've designed my wedding price collections based on experience, but I’m always happy to create custom packages tailored to your unique needs.
Who is your dream client?
I love working with couples who see their wedding as a deeply meaningful and emotional event, not just a photo session or performance. I also appreciate couples who understand that great results take time. And I'm so happy that somehow these couples always find me.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
You set the tone for your wedding! So, have fun, enjoy yourselves, and let your emotions shine. Your guests and the photos will reflect your joy perfectly. The day will fly extremely fast, so make sure to savour every moment and don’t stress too much, it's not that you want to remember!
