Tell us about your business!

My work reflects true moments with a guided documentary feel. I strive to allow my clients to enjoy their wedding day while thoughtfully capturing their story. It was after shooting my first wedding, I realized my true passion was storytelling through images. By utilizing interesting lighting, composition and raw moments, my clients will look at their images as pieces of heirloom art.

What would you like couples to know about you?

I specialize in lightly guided, candid moments. My clients hire me for a laid-back feeling while still maintaining structure throughout the day. I want my clients to feel comfortable and be able to live their day without much intrusion.

Where are you based?

Los Angeles/Palm Springs.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes, I travel!

How would you describe your style?

My style is guided documentary with a nostalgic flair.

What is your most memorable career moment?

My most memorable moment in my career was quitting my previous job and diving head first into wedding photography.

What inspires you?

I’m inspired by sentimental moments and interesting lighting situations.

How would you describe your working style?

My working style is relaxed and in the moment, while still providing structure to a wedding day.

Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?

I shoot digital, film and Super 8.

Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?

I always offer a custom option.

What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?

My favorite service I offer is 120mm/medium format film. It’s something that not many photographers offer.

Where would you love to travel to for work?

I would love to travel to Portugal more often, my husband’s family is from there. Maybe a little bit of  Switzerland too!

Who is your dream client?

My dream client is someone that says “I trust you”. That is the biggest compliment I can receive and gives me the inspiration to be creative.

How do you select music for your films?

I base my music off of the wedding day, usually choosing something that fits the couple and their vibe.

What is your advice to couples getting married?

My advice to couples getting married would be to allow yourself to take time on your wedding day to fully take in the moments happening. I think it’s important for couples to have moments of quiet so they can truly live the day.
