How would you describe your style?
I love to describe my style as effortless but still timeless and stylish. I capture the day with authenticity and intention.
Where are you based?
I am based between Toronto and New York presently, but I am available worldwide.
If you could describe yourself in 3 words, what would they be?
I would say I am cheerful, genuine, and driven.
What is your ideal work destination?
Tuscany, Italy. Every street, even a tiny corner, in Tuscany looks like it is straight out of a fairytale. I absolutely love the tall cedar trees and the gorgeous villas.
What is your favourite travel destination?
Anywhere in Italy! Every time I’ve travelled to Italy, it’s just been magical. The locals are friendly, the venues are stunning, the scenery is unmatched – and you can’t forget the amazing food!
Who is your dream client?
A fashion-forward couple who not only loves a timeless and editorial look however, also has an aesthetic eye and are not afraid to be their authentic selves.
What is your most memorable career moment?
Being named one of Canada’s top wedding photographers, and of course also being featured on The Anti-Bride. When I started on this career path, I remember thinking that it would be an absolute dream to be featured once, let alone twice. Not only would I be recognized for my work in the industry, but I would be alongside some of the greatest talent that I look up to as a photographer myself. It’s been a total 'pinch-me' moment and I couldn’t be happier with how this past year has turned out for me.
How long have you been a photographer?
I've always been the girl with the camera, and have played around with photography since I was a teenager, but have not done it professionally until last year July 2021 when I shot my first wedding.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
I definitely have a few!
Your wedding day is about you and your partner. Don't let others persuade or influence you or make decisions for you. Set time aside for just you and your partner on the day, even if it's just 5-10 minutes, let it soak in that it's your big day! And I also would highly recommend hiring a wedding planner. Having clear goals for your wedding day will help you and your planner execute the wedding you've always dreamed of.
What inspires you?
My couples. They help me create beautiful images that will become heirlooms over the course of their lives together. I think it’s possible for every couple to achieve that look of a beautiful magazine spread, where they are the featured stars. An engagement session or the wedding day are such important milestones that I want them to truly enjoy, relive and adore the photos they receive.
