New York Highlights.

What a whirlwind New York has been these past days. we have madly fallen in love with NYC and already can't wait to return.

It was an absolute pleasure to be able to play dress up's with Prea James' Harmony I and II collection pieces for three days (well, at least we could live vicariously through her stunning model!) We have so many favourites - but definitely have a special place in my heart for the silk satin Cecile blouse, the silk organza Clementine jacket, the Aurora pants as well as Tyler and Brooke. (See, we told you it's hard to pick a favourite!)

Another collection that we couldn't wait to see was Bon Bride from London, whose pieces didn't disappoint. Pippa's pieces will be stocked in Sydneys South Coast Boutique Your Art Bridal very soon (so make sure to book in for a fitting asap and we of course stock her Mini's in our online boutique!)

Another designer that we couldn't wait to meet was Alena Leena Bridal, whose Bells gown won best dress for London Bridal Market. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to get a shot of Bells, however we did snap a couple of shots of another favourite from her new collection - the incredible tulle gown Armeria.

With beautifully made and well-structured dresses you can't go past Melbourne's very own Georgia Young. We fell in love with Georgia's new collection Sunday pieces - a scuba style gown Magnolia, as well as her new collection piece with buttons Astor. We absolutely love the fact that Georgia has her own unique style, that is easily recognisable. Also, her studio has a pink door (beat that and make sure to book in!).

Unfortunately we were only able a very swift visit to Varca Bridal to see (and feel!) all her incredible textured pieces. Having just released her third collection, Varca is definitely a label for the bride who wants something extra.

For accessories, Am Faulkner was definitely a favourite. With veils to suit any style of wedding and stunning ornate headpieces, some of Ann-Marie's pieces will hopefully be landing at our online shop very soon!

If you are after something more maximal, Elizabeth Dye won us over with a vast array of brightly coloured tulle gowns, including powder pink and a fluorescent yellow. So very anti-bride with a hint of Sex and the City.

Katherine Tash also had some incredible anti-bride friendly options for the bride who wants a beautiful statement gown. The Cloud is simply jaw-dropping with the ribbon detail and Blue is a perfect option for any bride not wanting to wear white.

Thank you to the wonderful team at One Fine Day Bridal Market and of course the incredibly talented Prea James Bridal for having me along in New York this year!
