If you're seeking a bridal experience that's relaxed, contemporary, and completely unconventional, Honeymoon is the place for you. The team follows no rules—just good vibes and perfect fits. Re-wearability is a significant aspect of what Honeymoon offers, and the team enjoys assisting brides in customising or dyeing their pieces so they can continue wearing them long after the wedding day. Honeymoon is a Naarm/Melbourne-based occasional wear brand designed as an alternative to the traditional wedding scene.

Tell us about Honeymoon!

Honeymoon Studios is a Naarm/Melbourne-based occasional wear label reimagining what modern bridal can be. For the brides celebrating in backyards, racing into the registry office at golden hour, or filling a room with everyone who matters, Honeymoon offers a new kind of romance — rooted in personal style, comfort, and ease.

Here, traditions loosen. The rules dissolve. The expectation that a bride must look “traditional” simply doesn’t exist. Every piece is designed with re-wearability in mind, created for brides who live a little wildly: the ones who spill champagne, dance until the hemline frays, and kiss with cake still on their fingers. Honeymoon celebrates love in all its imperfect, intoxicating, beautifully human forms.

What would you like couples to know about Honeymoon?

We want couples to know that Honeymoon is here for the brides who don’t see themselves in the traditional bridal world. The brand was born when Andria went hunting for her own wedding outfit and realized the options available didn’t quite reflect the relaxed, modern look she had in mind. She wanted something that felt genuinely her — so she built a label for brides who feel the same way.

Everything we make is hand-cut and sewn in our Naarm/Melbourne studio, with sustainability always front of mind. We turn leftover fabric into accessories, offer dyeing so you can re-wear your favorite piece long after the big day, and design with real life (and real love) in mind. Because your wedding look should feel like the start of something — not the end of it.

Where is your boutique based?

Our studio, The Honeymoon Suite, is based on High Street in Northcote. We love hosting future brides with bubbles, a curated playlist, and a full hour to play dress-ups in their favorite looks. Honeymoon styles are exclusively available in our studio, online, or at our interstate pop-ups.

Tell us about your newest collection!

Our newest collection, Ever After, is a dive into the moodier, more cinematic side of romance. Inspired by gothic silhouettes, antique lace, and the kind of love that feels a little wild and all-consuming, this collection blends drama with our signature softness.

We’ve expanded our world of mix-and-match dressing with new separates, updated classics, textural contrasts, and pieces designed to shift and evolve with you — whether you want to layer, reveal, customize, or completely reinvent your look. It’s bridal, but moodier. Softer. More cinematic. Perfect for the bride who wants to look like the main character of her own beautifully chaotic love story.

How would you describe your brand’s style?

Our brand’s style is a curated mix of past-decade nostalgia and modern ease, built to outlive trends rather than chase them. It’s cool, a little messy, a little romantic — never tacky — and always effortless. Everything we design is made to feel good on every body, with inclusivity at the heart of the Honeymoon world.

Tell us about your favourite piece!

My favourite piece is the Stevie Lace Dress. It feels like the perfect blend of structure and softness — classic in silhouette but completely modern in attitude. I love the way the godet lace panels move, how the buttons trail down the front, and how effortlessly it layers over minis and columns. It’s dramatic without being overwhelming, and it transforms with whatever you wear underneath. To me, it captures everything Honeymoon is about: romance, versatility, and a touch of the unexpected.

Where are your gowns made?

All Honeymoon pieces are thoughtfully designed in our Northcote studio and made in-house by our skilled makers right here in Naarm/Melbourne.

What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?

Our favourite service has to be the Honeymoon Suite try-ons. There’s nothing better than welcoming brides into the studio, popping some bubbles, and spending an hour playing dress-ups together. It’s where we get to see what people actually love, what makes them light up, and how our pieces come to life on different bodies. Those moments often spark ideas for future designs — they’re truly the heart of Honeymoon.

What inspired your latest collection?

Our latest collection, Ever After, is inspired by the moodier, more cinematic side of romance. Think Interview with the Vampire-style candlelit corridors, the windswept longing of Wuthering Heights, and the feeling of love that’s a little wild, a little dramatic, and completely consuming. We wanted to explore that tension between softness and intensity — pairing antique lace, sheer layers, and gothic silhouettes with our signature ease and wearability.

Who is your dream client?

Our dream client is a fun, casual, cool bride who’s excited to embrace the wedding process in her own way. She has an effortless sense of style, a playful spirit, and a love for pieces that feel true to her. She embodies the energy we imagine when we design for our Honeymoon brides.

What is your advice to couples getting married?

Don’t overthink it. Wear what you feel amazing in, build a day that feels relaxed and you, and don’t worry about the tiny things — no one else will notice. The more fun you have, the better everything looks anyway.
