Ha Nguyen is a destination photographer based between Paris and Canada, working internationally across Europe, North America, and Asia for a select number of weddings. Inspired by fashion, movement, and raw emotion, she documents modern love stories with a timeless yet distinctly contemporary perspective. Ha Nguyen's work has been acknowledged and highlighted in numerous prominent international publications.

What would you like couples to know about you?

I am a Vietnamese-born human, casually jumped on a plane years ago, and somehow landed in beautiful Paris, France in 2012. Between then and now, I became a mother of two daughters Céline and Chloé. Between then and now, I also became a professional wedding photographer based out of Paris, France and Europe.

My biggest passion is to capture couples through a lens that distinctively amplifies their love and feelings for each other, as well as their personal stories. No couple is the same and I feel privileged to portray each and every unique journey through my craft.

My work has been recognized by The Wed and Wed Vibes as Top Wedding Photographers, and featured in leading publications including VOGUE, ELLE, and BRIDES.

Do you travel for weddings?

I take on a limited number of weddings each year and work internationally across Europe, Asia, and North America.

How would you describe your style?

My style is a thoughtful blend of artistic portraiture and documentary storytelling. I focus on capturing modern-day romantics in a way that feels timeless, effortless, and emotionally honest. With an editorial sensibility, I create images that are refined yet natural, balancing carefully composed portraits with candid, unscripted moments. The result is a visual narrative that not only documents the day but elevates it, preserving each couple’s love story with depth, elegance, and authenticity.

What is your most memorable career moment?

Returning to Vietnam to photograph my very first wedding there was an extraordinary experience. Set atop one of the country’s most breathtaking landscapes, the day was a perfect blend of emotion, artistry, and natural beauty. From intimate, heartfelt moments to sweeping, cinematic views, every detail told a story. Capturing this celebration in my homeland was not only deeply personal but also a powerful reminder of why I am passionate about telling love stories through my lens.

What inspires you?

I’m inspired by architecture, landscapes, culture, and authentic human connections. Drawing from fashion and visual design, I capture love with effortless style, emotional depth and editorial sensibility.

How would you describe your working style?

My couples and vendors often describe my working style as a balance of professionalism and creative vision, combined with approachability and humility. I believe in creating a relaxed, collaborative environment where everyone feels comfortable, allowing genuine emotions and spontaneous moments to emerge. I strive to guide with care and intuition, while leaving space for natural connections to shine, so that every wedding feels personal, effortless, and uniquely reflective of the couple’s story.

Both.

What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?

Storytelling focus: I create fully bespoke wedding experiences, tailored to each couple’s unique story.

I love being able to follow the couple from the quiet, intimate moments of getting ready to the sweeping energy of the celebration. This allows me to tell a complete, cinematic story of their day, capturing both the emotion and the artistry that make their love story unique.

Where would you love to travel to for work?

Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Korea) and South Africa.

Who is your dream client?

My dream clients are couples who embrace love with authenticity and openness, who value storytelling, emotion, and artful imagery. They are modern romantics who trust my vision, let moments unfold naturally, and are excited to create an experience that is both effortless and timeless. I love working with those who see photography not just as documentation, but as a way to capture the depth, beauty, and intimacy of their connection.

My advice to couples getting married is to focus on what truly matters, the love you share and the moments you’ll remember forever. Don’t get lost in the details or stress over perfection; instead, savor the day, embrace the emotions, and let your personality shine. Trust your team, stay present, and create a celebration that feels authentic to you because those genuine moments are what make your wedding unforgettable.
