Based between Melbourne, Australia and London, UK, WED SOCIAL specialises in capturing the behind-the-scenes magic of a couple’s special day — all shot seamlessly on the latest iPhone, in a relaxed, romantic, editorial style. While the couple is enjoying their day with loved ones, WED SOCIAL discreetly documents candid, heartfelt moments that often go unseen — from quiet in-between exchanges to the buzz of getting ready. The team collaborates closely with the wedding team, ensuring they never disrupt the flow, and deliver both polished reels and the full set of raw footage for the couple to relive and share instantly. Their goal is to add a modern, elevated layer of storytelling that celebrates every genuine, joyful moment.
What would you like couples to know about Wed Social?
I’m Sasha, Founder and Creative Director of WED SOCIAL and I’ve always been a creative at heart. I have a deep love for fashion, styling, and discovering beauty in all its forms. My journey started with a passion for art and visual storytelling, which led me to study Art and Visual Communication, earn a Bachelor of Graphic Design, and later pursue certifications in Social Media.
My creativity really found its voice on Instagram and TikTok. I discovered social media to be an incredible way to connect with people and share meaningful stories. Creating high-end, visually stunning content inspired me to blend my love for luxury lifestyle, design, and weddings into something truly special.
The wedding world holds such a special place in my heart. I’ve always dreamed of my own wedding day, so helping couples bring their unique visions to life feels like second nature. I’m a big empath, a total romantic, and I absolutely love love. Supporting brides with warmth, kindness, and positive energy is something I genuinely take pride in.
As WED SOCIAL grows, I now lead a carefully curated team of Lead Content Creators who help extend our signature experience to more couples around the world.
At WED SOCIAL, we bring together a wealth of experience in social media, design, and storytelling with a passion for weddings. Whether it’s crafting compelling content, styling, or visual storytelling, We're here to make sure your wedding day has been captured beautifully.
Where are you based?
WED SOCIAL has two Head Offices — one in Melbourne, Australia and one in London, United Kingdom. We’re equally based in both cities.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely! WED SOCIAL is available worldwide. With our HQs in both London and Melbourne, and team members located in various parts of the world, we’re able to support weddings in so many beautiful destinations. We’ve worked across the UK, Italy, France, Greece, Australia, Bali, and New York — and we’re always excited to explore more.
How would you describe your style?
High-end, editorial, fashion-focused, romantic, candid, genuine, and detail-oriented.
What is your most memorable career moment?
One of the most unforgettable moments in my career was a recent wedding in Paris with one of our beautiful couples. It was truly a pinch-me moment that spanned two magical days.
It began with welcome drinks at La Fontaine Gaillon, a stunning Parisian restaurant the couple had hired exclusively for their guests flying in from New York. The atmosphere was so intimate and full of love.
The wedding day itself was held at the private Maison de l’Amérique Latine in Saint-Germain, such a refined and timeless space. Every single detail was thoughtfully curated and a true reflection of the couple’s style.
And let me tell you the couple was a dream to work with, joyful, full of energy, and completely in love. Being in the city of love, capturing such a meaningful and elegant celebration - it was a complete honour.
What inspires you?
I’m most inspired by the art of creating content that’s emotionally rich, beautifully elevated, and feels effortless. I’m drawn to those fleeting, in-between moments the unposed, the glow of natural light, the quiet anticipation before walking down the aisle, the behind-the-scenes moments of the couples getting their couple shots after just saying I do.
Fashion plays a huge role in my creative lens. I’m inspired by editorial aesthetics and intention styling. My goal is always to create content that doesn’t just document the day, it feels like the day. Full of energy, beauty, and heart.
At its core, WED SOCIAL is about telling the story of your celebration in a way that’s visually stunning, aesthetically pleasing, emotionally powerful, and deeply personal.
How would you describe your working style?
The entire WED SOCIAL teams approach is friendly, collaborative, supportive, and detail-obsessed, so much so that people have previously mistaken me for the planner or stylist (which always makes me laugh!).
I’m always two steps ahead, scanning the run sheet and preparing for anything that might pop up on the day. Whether it’s me or one of my team members, we’re proactive, thoughtful, and fully engaged.
We bring the energy, hype our brides up, and build genuine connections with everyone we work with. By the end of the wedding, we often feel like best friends with the couple and the vendor team. And most importantly, we never miss a moment, we’re there capturing the magic as it unfolds, seamlessly and beautifully.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
All our content is captured on iPhone. We also offer film photos, and we’re currently exploring additional mediums for the near future (more to come as it happens!)
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
Yes! We have three core packages, 4, 6 and 8 hours in length, receiving all the RAW Content plus various amounts of WED style curated reels. Each package is tailored by region (US, UK, AUS, ASIA, EU). Outside of our standard 3 packages we offer custom packages and are more than happy to work to the couples needs, whatever it may be, we will find a solution that works.
What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?
Definitely curating our reels! I absolutely love editing and pulling together all the beautiful moments we capture. It’s like reliving the day all over again — and seeing the final result is always so satisfying.
Who is your dream client?
Jacquie Alexander — hands down! I just know her wedding is going to be iconic. She has the best style, the best energy, and she’s doing an all-black black-tie wedding, which I’m OBSESSED with. Jacquie, if you’re reading this — we would love to work with you. You’re a total queen!
How do you select music for your films?
We always ask our couples to send a key song list — songs they love, songs that represent them, or even just something they vibe with. If we can use one of their chosen tracks, we will. If not, it gives us a feel for their aesthetic, which helps us choose music that really suits their vibe.
The goal is always to make each reel and video feel personal, unique, and so them.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
The best advice I can give (and I wish someone had told me this when I got engaged) is: take your time. It’s easy to feel the pressure to book vendors quickly out of fear of missing out, but that can lead to locking in decisions before you’re really clear on your vision.
Start by identifying your top wedding priorities: Venue, Food, Music, Fashion/Aesthetics, and Content (which includes photography, videography, and Content Creation). Rank them from 1 to 5, and let that guide where your budget and energy should go.
If content is number one for you, invest there first. Got a huge quote for music but it’s number five on your list? Park it for later and focus on what matters most to you. That clarity will make your planning journey somuch smoother.
