How would you describe your working style?
There are two of us, so our working style is dichotomous. We are complete opposites, but that is really what allows our creativity and execution to reach its maximum potential. As strong women it was important for us work with vendors who will go the extra mile and work as a team. We put a lot of time and effort into vetting every single vendor that we work with, not only for our clients but for ourselves as well. Our #1 focus with every project is execution - you can have perfect inspiration but executing the ideas is crucial.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
We are endlessly inspired by the places we travel to, especially Paris, Barcelona, and Mallorca. The architecture and natural surroundings show us that beauty comes in many forms. Inspiration comes from the food, culture, people and places. We make these influences our own and use it in our work to create very unique design elements.
Who is your dream client?
Our dream client is Zoe Kravitz, who is recently engaged. We would curate a thoughtful, detailed celebration with purpose. We would incorporate elements that mirror her impeccable style, as well as the couples love for each other. We would ensure that all design aspects reflect the couple themselves within their desired atmospheric goals, so the entire event is deeply intentional.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
Our advice to couples getting married is to have fun during the process, as it goes by so quickly. We understand wedding planning can be stressful, and there are rare moments where there will be blips of anxiety, but remember why are to be wed in the first place – it is to celebrate your love and create lasting memories!
What motivates you to do what you do?
We are motivated by our clients’ happiness. We understand that weddings are an enormous undertaking for various reasons; financial investment, style, gathering with friends and family, and celebrating your love with your partner. We plan and design weddings because we love love, and we are grateful to be part of making this experience come to fruition.
