Tell us about Mandy Marie Events!
Mandy Marie Events is a destination wedding planning and design studio known for concept-led, experience-driven celebrations. Based in the Southwest, we produce multi-day weddings across the West Coast, Mountain West, and Mexico—often in remote, nontraditional, or culturally layered settings.
Our work sits at the intersection of creative direction, logistics, and guest experience. Weddings are treated as a collective moment, designed to be felt, participated in, and remembered. We partner with couples who care deeply about intention and point of view, and who trust the process enough to do things differently.
Design always begins with a blank canvas. No cookie-cutter formulas, no repeated aesthetics. Every event is built from scratch to reflect the couple’s identities, traditions, priorities, and the specific energy of the place they’re celebrating. We’re especially drawn to immersive environments, unconventional layouts, and experiences that invite interaction rather than passive observation.
Behind the scenes, our team is operationally meticulous and travels fluently. We bridge cultural and logistical gaps, remain highly responsive, and manage complex productions with clarity—removing friction so clients and their guests can stay present.
At its core, Mandy Marie Events exists to help couples host gatherings that feel personal, expressive, and unmistakably their own celebrations with a clear point of view and the confidence to step outside convention.
What would you like couples to know about you?
We want couples to know that working with us feels calm, intentional, fun, and collaborative. We handle the complexity behind the scenes so there’s space for creativity, presence, and enjoyment throughout the process.
We care deeply about how a wedding feels for you and for your guests. Our work goes beyond aesthetics to consider pacing, energy, comfort, and the moments people carry with them long after the weekend ends. Whether you’re hands-on or prefer to step back, we meet you there, with clarity, trust, and transparency.
Where are you based?
Scottsdale, Arizona.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes—travel is a core part of our work.
We plan and produce weddings across the West Coast, Mountain West, and Mexico, and we’re structured to work seamlessly both locally and remotely. Our team travels fluently, adapts quickly to new environments, and bridges the logistical and cultural nuances of each destination so the experience feels cohesive and grounded, wherever the wedding takes place.
How would you describe your style?
Our style is concept-led and experience-driven. We don’t work from a signature look—instead, each celebration is built from scratch around the couple, the setting, and the energy they want to create.
We’re drawn to modern, unconventional approaches to weddings, often rethinking traditions and designing experiences that feel immersive, intentional, and participatory. The result is work with a strong point of view—expressive, considered, and never formulaic.
What is your most memorable career moment?
Outside of the relationships we build with our couples, one of our most memorable moments was producing a logistically complex destination wedding in California that required a multi-day load-in and constant, hands-on management of high-level creative and production teams.
The collaboration, trust, and around-the-clock involvement required from our team—and seeing it all come together across design, production, and logistics made it one of our proudest moments as Mandy Marie Events.
What inspires you?
We’re inspired by the couple first—their story, priorities, and the way they imagine celebrating. Just as important are the subtleties of guest experience: how people move through a space, what they feel in each moment, and the connections that form between generations, families, and friends.
Outside of weddings, travel, restaurants, architecture, art, and fashion continually inform our work—shaping how we think about atmosphere, pacing, and gathering in ways that feel modern, thoughtful, and lived-in.
How would you describe your working style?
Our working style is highly responsive, detail-driven, and grounded in white-glove care. We’re professional and organized, but also intuitive—anticipating needs before they’re voiced and adjusting quickly as plans evolve.
We lead with clarity and calm, communicate directly, and stay deeply involved from start to finish. The result is a process that feels steady, thoughtful, and fully supported—allowing our couples to stay present while we manage the complexity behind the scenes.
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
Yes. Every couple’s needs are different, and our services are customized accordingly. That said, most of our work is built from a two-day signature framework, which allows us to design a cohesive, immersive experience while remaining flexible to expand or refine based on the scope of the celebration.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
We’re always drawn to destinations with a strong sense of place. Aspen, Jackson Hole, and Big Sur are at the top of our list. Locations where landscape and architecture naturally lend themselves to immersive, experience-driven celebrations.
Who is your dream client?
Our dream client is thoughtful and values experience over expectation. They care deeply about their guests and want to host a celebration that feels personal, intentional, and reflective of who they are—not what a wedding is “supposed” to look like.
They’re open to modern, unconventional approaches, trust creative direction, and appreciate strong logistics just as much as strong design. Whether highly involved or happy to step back, they value collaboration, clarity, and a steady partner who can lead with confidence. Above all, they want a celebration with a clear point of view—one that feels meaningful, well-considered, and genuinely memorable for everyone involved.
