Tell us about your business!
We are a wedding and event planning studio with a modern, minimalist approach. Based between London and Zakynthos, Greece, we bring a fresh perspective to an industry that can often feel overwhelming and outdated.
As a boutique studio, we focus on personalised, tailored services that align effortlessly with your vision and budget. We are committed to exceptional craftsmanship, ensuring every detail is thoughtfully curated and entirely bespoke to you. By pairing refined design with remarkable venues, we create moments that feel both timeless and unforgettable.
What would you like couples to know about you?
I founded The Isle after struggling to find a wedding planner who was willing to move beyond traditional aesthetics and generic package options. Faced with limited choices, I took a leap of faith and planned my own wedding in Greece. It ended up being everything we hoped for because we focused on what mattered most to us: elevated food and drinks, fashion-forward photography, and breathtaking locations rather than extravagant décor or fleeting trends.
With over a decade of experience as a creative project manager in the luxury fashion and design industry, I brought together my global perspective, design sensibility, and creative network to launch The Isle Events. My goal was to offer couples a modern alternative that reflects the evolving wedding landscape.
Planning my own wedding taught me what’s possible when you design a celebration around your true priorities. Since then, we’ve partnered with couples who want a wedding that feels uniquely their own, always placing their vision at the centre of everything we do.
Where are you based?
We are based between London and Zakynthos, Greece, and specialise in planning weddings in both locations. We’ve built strong relationships with trusted local suppliers. This allows us to collaborate with the best venues, chefs, DJs, and creatives bringing you and your guests an authentic, beautifully curated experience.
Whether you envision a city celebration, an island wedding, or a combination of the two, we are here to make it happen.
While London and Zakynthos are at the heart of what we do, we’re also open to planning weddings across Europe. If you have a particular destination in mind, we’d love to hear from you.
How would you describe your style?
Aesthetically, we embrace minimal maximalism. A balance between simplicity and impact. It’s about knowing when to make a bold statement while maintaining a timeless, elegant feel. We adapt this approach to each client, ensuring the aesthetic reflects your unique vision.
What is your most memorable career moment?
One of my most memorable career moments happened late one evening at a wedding this year. A guest came up to me and shared that the day had completely changed their view of marriage and weddings. They were genuinely excited to experience a modern celebration that truly resonated with them. Before they left, they asked for my contact details and later told me they had proposed to their partner of ten years. Now, we’re delighted to be planning their wedding for next year.
What inspires you?
“In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary." This quote by Aaron Rose beautifully captures our approach to wedding planning.
Working in Greece reminds us of the power of simplicity, and much of our inspiration comes from the island’s natural landscapes. Meanwhile, our base in London and our experience within the design industry keeps us connected to the newest ideas in art, design, food, and events. Together, these two worlds create the perfect balance, giving us a rich and ever-evolving source of creativity.
How would you describe your working style?
I’ve had the privilege of working as a project manager on large-scale design and build projects for some of the world’s most prestigious brands: Chanel, Hermès, Loro Piana, Georg Jensen and the LVMH Group. This experience has shaped me into an exceptionally organised, detail-oriented, and resourceful professional with a strong eye for design.
My approach is empathetic and client-focused. Having been through the wedding planning process myself, I understand how overwhelming it can feel, which is why I’m passionate about guiding you every step of the way. I aim to make the experience enjoyable and stress-free, offering clear support on everything from guest lists and budgeting to styling and logistics.
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
Yes, our full planning service is completely tailored to each couple’s needs. We take the time to truly get to know you, presenting visual ideas and curated options that we refine together until everything feels just right. On the day itself, your only task is to relax and enjoy every moment.
We warmly welcome all types of weddings and celebrations and are proud supporters of the LGBTQ+ community.
Who is your dream client?
Our ideal clients are couples who may feel unsure about what their wedding could look like or feel overwhelmed by where to begin. We love working with those who value connection and creativity.
Whether you’re full of ideas or starting from scratch, we focus on building a personal relationship with you to create a day that feels genuinely and perfectly yours.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
Stay true to who you are as a couple. Don’t feel pressured to include traditions or details simply because you think you should, or because others expect it. What makes a wedding truly perfect is that it reflects you.
On the day itself, take moments to slow down and really soak in the experience. Amid all the excitement, it’s important to carve out time just for the two of you to pause, connect, and enjoy your first moments as newlyweds. At The Isle Events, we always make this a priority.
