Tell us a little about yourselves!

We are Florian & Mirabelle. We live in the south of France and have a son named Edouard. In our free time, we love eating, partying, spending time with our friends and family, and doing sports. We love hosting pool parties, lunches, and dinners at home.

Why did you decide to get married where you did?

Well, as we love our home and we love to be hosts, what better idea than to get married in our favorite place? We chose a daytime party so we wouldn’t disturb our neighborhood too much. Also, we love to be in control of everything (especially Florian, lol), so it was really an easy choice. We were able to choose everything ourselves: the catering, the DJ, the goodies and the best part was being able to have music playing all day long!

How many guests did you have?

We had around 100 guests.

What was your budget?

Around 30K euros.

Tell us about your outfits.

As our wedding wasn’t traditional — neither religious nor secular — we didn’t want traditional outfits. I decided to get married in a short dress I bought online! When I tried it on, I was shocked — it was the dress. My husband chose a quite retro brown suit with loafers for a more relaxed vibe. Fun fact — we chose our outfits together! No surprise. I know it sounds crazy, but control-freak couples have to check everything!

What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?

We didn’t want any downtime! I wanted every moment to be a special moment. I was also really picky about the playlist since it was very important to me! And of course, we wanted to prepare everything carefully to avoid any damage to our home.

Were there any elements that were important for you to incorporate?

I want to add that everything turned out exactly as we wanted thanks to our friends Marie and Lea from ClubAgency. They were our wedding planners and helped us a lot before the wedding and during it! I also have to mention our photographer, Maélys Izzo, because we have some history: nearly 10 years ago, she photographed the wedding of some friends of ours..When I saw the photos, I KNEW that if I ever got married one day, she would be my photographer. And that was exactly what happened! It was the best decision we could have made - just look at those photos!! She also is very kind and professional.

Any tips for couples getting married?

Have fun! Even if not everything goes as planned, it will still be the best day of your life! All your family and friends are there to celebrate both of you — and that doesn’t happen very often. Enjoy every moment of it.

Are there any vendors that you would like to tell us a little more about?

All of them! We were really happy with every single one.
