Tell us a little about yourselves!

Victor works as an Art Director, and Lina works with film and creative storytelling. Both share a passion for creating things that inspire, things that move the heart and please the eye.

They first met in 2011, when Lina was set to create a music video for Victor’s band at the time.

The moment they met, they fell for each other instantly.

It was fiery, instant love. It hit like lightning, sudden, electric, and impossible to ignore. Since then, they’ve travelled to many places around the world, and today they live in a house filled with warmth and wonder, together with their children, Kid and Gro. There, they’ve created a magical home and garden, a place that feels alive with love and creativity.

Why did you decide to get married where you did?

When we began searching for the perfect place for our wedding, the aesthetic was deeply important to us. We wanted to find a venue that was visually beautiful, with the right tones, a sense of history, and that special atmosphere we had envisioned. It was also essential that the location had enough rooms to host all our guests who wished to stay overnight.

Our ceremony took place in an old spring hall, with graceful open arches, Medevi Brunn. It is the oldest health spa in the Nordic region, with an unbroken history of operation since its founding in 1678. Medevi means “in the middle of the forest,” and for centuries, people have come here to drink from and bathe in its natural springs.

The dinner was held in Brunnssalongen — one of Sweden’s oldest and best-preserved 18th-century salons, with magnificent high ceilings, large windows, and beautifully painted walls.

How many guests did you have?

80 guests.

Tell us about your outfits.

Lina wore a gown that felt like a dream, perfectly in harmony with the surroundings — timeless and sculptural, yet soft and romantic. An off-shoulder neckline and a fitted bodice flowed into a full skirt that moved like silk in the glow of candlelight, with a long train trailing gracefully behind her.

Victor wore a classic black tuxedo, perfectly tailored, with a crisp white shirt and a black bow tie, simple, elegant, and timeless, the perfect balance.

Together, we felt like two opposites that belonged, perfectly matched, just as we are.

What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?

For us, the aesthetic was deeply important, everything had to feel personal, intentional, and full of meaning.

We wanted to create something that felt both beautiful and ceremonial, yet relaxed and full of joy, a celebration where our guests could truly feel at ease and have the most wonderful time. One of the very first things we did was create a graphic identity for the wedding: a moodboard, a color palette, and visual elements including a seal with our initials and two dots (a subtle nod to the matching tattoos we share), along with the outline of our ceremony venue.

We spent a long time searching for the perfect handmade paper, used for everything from the invitations to the personal letters we had written for each guest, placed at their seats for the dinner.

Were there any elements that were important for you to incorporate?

Beyond the aesthetic, music was deeply important to us.

We had a string duo playing classical interpretations of modern songs during the ceremony. String music is one of Lina’s greatest loves, and for the processional, they performed one of Victor’s favorite songs by Sleep Token, reimagined for strings.

During the ceremony, the artist Donika Nimani performed together with the duo — a song with lyrics written by Lina, telling the story of our very first days together.

Throughout the dinner, soft string melodies filled the room, and for our first dance, a string piece transformed into a lively party version of the same song. The sound of strings became the golden thread woven through the entire day, classic, heartfelt, and completely our own.

Since we both embrace a vegetarian lifestyle, it was important to us that every meal during our wedding weekend reflected this, so every dish served throughout our wedding weekend was entirely vegetarian.

Any tips for couples getting married?

Take your time to make it truly yours. Focus on the details that reflect who you are, the things that make your hearts feel at home. Create something beautiful and meaningful, but don’t forget to let go and enjoy every imperfect, magical moment. Surround yourself with people you love, music that moves you, and details that feel like you.

The day will fly by, so pause often, breathe it in, and remember why you’re there, for love.

Are there any vendors that you would like to tell us a little more about?

The most important vendor for our wedding was undoubtedly our photographer, Honey Wasp Weddings. Since we both work in film and photography, we have a very specific style that feels truly 'ours,' and we were determined to find a photographer and filmmaker who could capture that same vision. A style that is moody, beautiful, and gently sentimental.

We searched for a long time before discovering the perfect team, Gustav and Ika of Honey Wasp Weddings. They were the first we booked, even before we had chosen a venue or set a date.

Looking back now, we couldn’t be happier. They not only met our expectations—they brought our vision to life in ways we couldn’t have imagined.
