Tell us a little about yourselves!

We are a couple brought together by chance—or perhaps by destiny. We are both originally from different parts of Southern Italy, they now call South Tyrol home. Our Southern roots intertwined in the North, creating an unbreakable bond built on love, laughter, and a deep desire to share meaningful experiences. What defines us most is our natural connection, our joy, and our way of turning every moment into something to be lived fully—together.

Why did you decide to get married where you did?

Living in South Tyrol felt like the most authentic choice, especially because the venue was a hotel filled with cherished memories from their journey as a couple. Inviting guests from Southern Italy also allowed them to offer a completely different experience—mountain landscapes and alpine atmospheres far from what they were used to.

How many guests did you have?

Approximately 60 guests, creating an intimate yet vibrant celebration.

What was your budget?

Around €50,000.

Tell us about your outfits.

Elegance, clean lines, and refined details were essential. The outfits were designed to highlight specific parts of the body—especially the back of the bride. The draping detail on the bride’s gown became a visual thread echoed throughout the reception design.

What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?

The most important aspect was creating an experience rooted in authenticity and hospitality. More than only planning a visually beautiful event, we wanted the wedding to feel warm, welcoming, and deeply shared. Every choice was guided by the desire to make guests feel truly cared for—from the rhythm of the day to the atmosphere, from the setting to the smallest details.

Coming from the South and celebrating in the mountains, it was essential for us to blend elegance with a genuine sense of togetherness, allowing our guests to not just attend our wedding, but to live it with us. The goal was to create memories, emotions, and a sense of belonging that would stay with everyone long after the celebration ended.

Were there any elements that were important for you to incorporate?

The color palette played a key role. The venue featured traditional South Tyrolean floral installations with pink and red geraniums. Rather than hiding them, we chose to highlight and elevate them through carefully curated compositions, shapes, and volumes.

Any tips for couples getting married?

Don’t try to change your location—enhance it. The same applies to you as a couple: don’t create an image that isn’t yours. Let your true essence guide every choice.

Are there any vendors that you would like to tell us a little more about?

Wedding planners With Love and Planning and Ilaria Bernacchia Franceschini—colleagues, friends, and creative partners—played a fundamental role in bringing the vision to life. With years of experience in destination weddings across Italy, they are known for crafting projects that are deeply personal, emotionally rich, and aesthetically refined. Their ability to translate who we are as a couple into a cohesive and meaningful design allowed us to create something truly distinctive: a touch of contemporary glamour set within a mountain landscape, always respectful of local traditions and colors.

The floral designer interpreted the concept with great sensitivity, enhancing the existing setting rather than overpowering it. Through thoughtful compositions, volumes, and color harmony, the floral design became an essential element of the narrative.

Ortica Wedding—an all-female collective—captured the day with discretion and intuition, giving the story an elegant, modern, and editorial feel. Their images reflect not only the beauty of the event, but also the emotions and atmosphere that made it so special.
