Wedding | Cato & Anton

Tell us a little about yourselves!

We’ve been together for over 9 years and met during our time at university. It’s been an amazing journey filled with love and shared interests, where we’ve also encouraged each other to grow individually. Our relationship is built on mutual respect, laughter, and a deep connection, and we feel incredibly grateful to have found each other.

Why did you decide to get married where you did?

We’ve been traveling to this area in Spain with my family for several years and absolutely love it there. We wanted to get married abroad because it allows all of our guests to be fully present, without any other commitments. Casa Santonja itself immediately appealed to us due to its authentic and traditional charm.

How many guests did you have?

Around 140.

Tell us about your outfits.

I chose a wedding dress that combines classic and modern elements. It felt like the perfect blend of tradition and style. I was also happy to wear the veil my mother wore on her wedding day with my father.

For the suit, we went with a stunning straw color that perfectly complemented the overall look.

What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?

We wanted everything to reflect our personalities and make us both feel happy and comfortable. It was important to simply enjoy our day, exactly the way we wanted as a couple: great food and drinks, a fun atmosphere, a lively dance party, fun speeches, a style we love and all of that surrounded by our favorite people.

Were there any elements that were important for you to incorporate?

It was important for us to include personal touches throughout our wedding. For example meaningful and witty speeches, personal vows, …

Any tips for couples getting married?

Make sure to spend plenty of time with your partner during the wedding celebration. We definitely made that a priority, and it was amazing.

Are there any vendors that you would like to tell us a little more about?

We were honestly thrilled with Barbara Markiewicz Photography and all of our vendors. They were all incredibly professional.
