Tell us a little about yourselves!

Callum is a set dresser and works in the Film industry, Becky is a freelance Interior and Event Stylist. We met organically on a night out in our early twenties and got to know each other over a few tequila shots!  Everything from this point on has been an adventure, we have moved all over the UK and 12 years later we finally got married in our favourite place.

Why did you decide to get married where you did?

We had our first holiday together in Lindos many years ago and fell in love with the village. We have since visited regularly and it has slowly become a second home to us both! The locals are such warm and friendly people, the food is amazing, and its rugged scenery contrasts the bluest skies and seas.

How many guests did you have?

We had 30 guests, which was the perfect number to keep it intimate but enough to get the party started!

What was your budget?

We had quite a modest budget and we worked hard with our planner to create a wedding that felt high end and aesthetically beautiful. We spent our money on the aspects that would enhance our guests experience, such as the lighting, music, food and drink and saved on large displays of flowers by repurposing our ceremony installations in the centre of the dinner tables.

Tell us about your outfits.

Becky always dreamed of designing her own wedding dress, her aunt was a very talented costume maker and worked in Film. They were very close, and she promised to make her wedding dress. Sadly, she passed away several years before the wedding. Becky knew she had to find the perfect dress that her aunt would’ve loved.

The dress was from Kyha, there were several dresses she adored from this designer, but “Berkeley” felt like the showstopper. A borrowed small blue bow was stitched inside the dress, gifted to Becky’s cousin originally by her Aunt Sara many years ago.

The veil was a custom design by the lovely Heather at Sash & Veil, a blend of two of her existing designs and the shoes were a leopard print pair from Monsoon.

Callum’s suit was from Oliver Spencer and his white ceremony shirt from Toast. He always knew he wanted to wear Birkenstock’s and he actually had two pairs, one for the ceremony and one for the party to match his dark green Reiss shirt.

His ring was gifted to him by his grandmother; his grandfather sadly passed away just before the wedding and this ring was his Grandad’s favourite.

We gifted each other sunglasses from Oliver Spencer for the day, much needed in the Lindian sun.

What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?

We really wanted our wedding to feel like a party from start to finish, we wanted people to feel like it reflected us as a couple; laid back and a little unexpected. We had no desire for many of the formalities that are expected from traditional British weddings. It was more important that the wedding felt relaxed and everyone had a good time, including us!

Were there any elements that were important for you to incorporate?

Music was a big thing for us, we wanted chilled vibes for cocktail hour and then a blend of movie soundtracks and après ski hits alongside dance music for the party. We definitely set DJ Loukas a challenge!

Becky also surprised Callum with her aisle music – a slightly adapted version of “Matera” by Hans Zimmer, taken from Callum’s favourite Bond movie.

Good food and drink was also important, We had a traditional Rhodian menu and picked our favourite cocktails for cocktail hour.  We had a giant Bougatsa (Greek custard dessert) for a wedding cake made by a local bakery.

Any tips for couples getting married?

Try and enjoy the process, planning is such a whirlwind and it’s easy to get overwhelmed by all the decision making. You can worry about every little thing but the most important thing is to be present and enjoy every minute of your day, even when things don’t go quite as planned.

Are there any vendors that you would like to tell us a little more about?

Despina from Le Journdal D’Organza went above and beyond for us. Becky had a clear vision of the aesthetic she wanted for the wedding, and Despina truly understood the brief. She brought it to life with an elegant design for both the ceremony and the dinner, creating spaces that felt deeply personal yet effortlessly beautiful.

One of the most special moments of the day was having Becky’s brother, Charlie, as our celebrant. What began as a light-hearted suggestion quickly became the perfect choice. His words were filled with warmth, humour, and sincerity — the kind of heartfelt ceremony only someone who knows you inside out can deliver.

Photography was by Lewis Rhodes, a colleague and friend of Becky’s, who captured the day alongside his partner, Rachel. Together, they blended digital and 35mm film to create images that feel timeless and candid.

We were so lucky to have Becky’s maid of honour, Vicky Rouine, by her side. Not only did she support Becky in every possible way, but she also managed to capture stunning video moments throughout the day — balancing her role as both best friend and talented videographer flawlessly.

Becky’s jewellery was equally meaningful. Designed by her longtime friend, jewellery designer Olivia Madigan-Shea, her engagement ring and wedding band perfectly reflect her style: a blend of vintage and modern elegance. The olive-green tourmaline sits beautifully against the Asscher-cut diamond.
