The OWN Studio | Edition 003

The OWN Studio was founded by Rosie Williams and Jess Kaye who both love simple, effortless fashion and wanted to bring the same aesthetic to bridalwear. Taking inspiration from luxury fashion and vintage pieces, The OWN Studio’s mission is to redefine bridalwear, offering women something minimal, modern and cool on their wedding day.

Sparkling sequins, textured silks and lustrous satin lend an air of playful elegance to The OWN Studio’s latest collection ‘EDITION 003’, which launches today.

This is mood-boosting, fashion-forward wedding wear for brides and bridesmaids; from a glittering mini dress made for dancing ‘til you drop to soft satin and silken dresses and separates that could have hung in the wardrobes of Jean Harlow or Vivien Leigh.

Founded by Jess Kaye and Rosie Williams, The OWN Studio has fast become a cult favourite since its launch last year, and has fast gathered praise from press and influencers.

The brand new 26 piece collection is perfect for brides eloping or those organising more intimate, laid-back ceremonies, with city chic dresses, tailored jumpsuits and sleek separates. For bridesmaids there is a range of contemporary styles designed to flatter all body shapes, in a range of colours, including a beautiful new olive colour.  Whether bride or bridesmaid, all the pieces stay true to the label’s ethos to create pieces that can be worn long after the wedding day.

Says founder Rosie,  “inspiration for the collection grew from a beautiful 1930s silk evening gown which had long been treasured by my Grandma. Not only do we love the relaxed glamour of that era, we loved the way women in the 1930s didn’t need an occasion to dress up. Silhouettes were confident, sophisticated and sexy - and most importantly, dressing up was a joy.

“We’ve not just borrowed inspiration from the thirties, we’ve continued to reference one of our favourite decades in fashion; the nineties, with razor straight necklines and sleek and contemporary silhouettes such as our new separates range. Whatever the era, this collection is all about us indulging in extra special, escapist pieces that elevates wedding wear into a more fun and joyful space.”

Prices for the new collection start from AUD $1500 for a bridal piece or from AUD $265 for bridesmaids. The new collection is exclusively available online from today or at the labels brand new studio in Cheshire Street, London.
