Why did you decide to get married where you did?
We decided to get married over lunch at our favorite tapas restaurant in early January. We were talking about what we wanted out of 2022 and we decided to get married. We had already planned a trip to Seville, Gibraltar and Lisbon, so Andrea suggested eloping in Seville.

Just us!
Tell us about your outfits.
It was really important to me that I did not have a traditional wedding dress. I love neutral colours and I don’t really wear 'pretty' clothes, so I never actually pictured myself in a traditional, long gown. I wanted my dress to be short, chic, understated and unique and paired with a super long veil. The Herve Leger and JRR dress collab was exactly what I wanted. I also knew that I wanted my shoe to be a timeless and chic white Manolo Blahnik pump. My purse was a $25 Amazon find! I knew I wanted to change up the vibe of the dress throughout the day so for the morning, I picked up a Zara white blazer that was perfect. It looked expensive with the cut and the gold and white buttons, but of course was a bargain! We actually bought a black suit at the beginning for Alex however, we went back to return his traditional black suit and ended up with a gorgeous royal blue 3-piece suit that he dressed down after the ceremony, by losing the tie and changing into white sneakers.
What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?
We wanted it to be about just us.
Were there any elements that were important for you to incorporate?
I needed a photographer who understood my vision for my urban, non traditional, edgy, glamorous vibe…and Patri from Blancorazon Wedding NAILED IT!
Any tips for couples getting married, particularly during the pandemic?
Don’t be scared to elope! It was the best decision we made.
