O Lemonade is a photography duo based in Melbourne, specialising in capturing wedding and pre-wedding stories. Their style is constantly evolving, influenced by each couple, their vibe, and the setting, ensuring each gallery feels genuine and authentic. O Lemonade works with both both digital and 35mm film; film offers a nostalgic, timeless appeal, while digital allows them to flexibly capture every fleeting moment. There will always be two photographers working together to capture your day from different angles and on multiple formats. The final product is a complete story of a unique and special day.
What would you like couples to know about you?
We love anything organic – organic coffee, organic food and (of course), the organic moments we capture through photography.
Where are you based?
Naarm (Melbourne, Australia).
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, please invite us to a new destination. We love travelling for weddings regionally, interstate and internationally.
How would you describe your style?
We have no set style rather, we aim for a stylish and romantic vibe, with spontaneous candid moments.
What is your most memorable career moment?
Our recent shoot with the fashion forward Eden and Zane. For their unique wedding day, they along with their guests (and us) flew interstate to wed in their favourite location – MONA (Museum of Old and New Art).
They placed complete trust in us, and when everyone’s vision aligns so effortlessly, it feels like the perfect creative partnership. This wedding was truly one-of-a-kind, with Eden and Zane’s bold artistic expression, we felt inspired with every moment.
How would you describe your working style?
A lot of effort goes into making our work feel effortless.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
Both – digital and film (135mm, 120mm and Instax).
What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?
Film photography – it changes the way we work – it taught us to slow down and anticipate the right moments. Unlike digital, where we can shoot endlessly and curate afterwards, film requires us to curate in real time.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
When you are planning your wedding, engage with vendors that understand your vision and make sure you plan a run sheet that allows enough time between events to run smoothly without rushing.
Then on the day you shouldn’t have to think too much and can focus on enjoying the best day ever.
