What would you like couples to know about Toria Frances Photography?

Hi, I’m Toria! I’m an elopement and destination photographer, offering coverage on digital and anolog across Europe. Before photography, my background was in international customer relations, branding, events & PR, but through it all my biggest tick has always been and continues to be, telling a great story and creating memorable experiences.

I have romanticising life down to an art form and enjoy weaving that into my photos. I’m the friend that’s known to find the best food spots and my clients now often enquire leading with their menu choices or cake design and I instantly know it’s a match!

Where are you based?

I’m currently based in the UK with my husband and our two gorgeous boys but will be spending more time in Spain from January 2025 onwards.

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely. Travel around Europe is a huge part of my work and personal life, being part of a multi-cultural family. As a previous Italy bride myself too, I love to be able to offer help and support for anyone looking to get married overseas. Also, the light just hits different!

How would you describe your style?

Modern and joyful reportage photography across digital and analog with a fashion-forward eye for cool couples in love.

What inspires you?

My couples inspire me hugely! I get fuelled by hearing love stories after growing up on a healthy diet of romance novels. Otherwise, my Pinterest, is mainly littered with sun-soaked travel locations and restaurants! I like looking for the imperfect, perfect moments so I’m drawn to the messy details of an after-dinner table and the chaotic laughter of evening shenanigans.

How would you describe your working style?

I have a very relaxed and unfussy approach to the day, wanting my clients to focus on having fun and being their friends and family, rather than orchestrating photo opportunities. I’ll provide gentle direction when needed, but otherwise my focus is making sure my couples are staying hydrated and loving on each other.

What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?

I’ve recently introduced polaroids into my offering and I’m loving being able to give my couples something instant and tangible from their day. It’s so fun to capture and they also make a great additional prop for those evening detail direct flash shots!

Where would you love to travel to for work?

Capturing a wedding in Ibiza is high on my destination bucket list. The vibes, the energy of the Island and the stunning backdrop make it an incredible location and there are so many incredible spaces to get married. I was recently in Portugal too and that is such an underrated gem of a destination for weddings, I can’t wait to do more there.

Who is your dream client?

Clients who don’t take themselves too seriously and prioritise the overall aesthetic and emotional experience for themselves and their guests. I love to say that your wedding is the best dinner party you’re ever going to throw, so I adore when the little touches have been considered to keep conversation and atmosphere high.

What is your advice to couples getting married?

Always consider the senses. The power of sense is so strong, so really consider tactile pieces for your day - like the materials you wear, curated playlists, unique fragrances, a menu that has you salivating and of course a visual feast for the eyes you can relive through photos. It’s such a simple way to allow you to revisit your day whenever you smell, taste, hear or touch something that takes you straight back to that moment.

Also, be together as much as possible! Those gorgeous candid moments can only happen if you’re actively coming back together throughout the day between mingling with guests. It’s so easy on a wedding day to be swept up in different directions, so making a conscious effort to seek each other out is super important.
