Tell us about your business!
Hello! I’m Tom. I am based in NYC and I’ve been photographing weddings for 15 years. I shoot a hybrid of film and digital photography, documenting love stories through a photojournalistic approach. I also offer Super 8 and 16mm motion picture film, which holds a special place in my heart for its nostalgic texture and ability to capture the feelings of a wedding day in a truly unique way.
What would you like couples to know about you?
I'm a pretty laid-back, easygoing person, and I think that has a big impact on the experience I create for my couples. Weddings can be emotional and fast-paced, so I do my best to bring a calm energy that helps everyone feel at ease.

Yes, I photograph weddings throughout New York and other destinations.
How would you describe your style?
My style is rooted in photojournalism and documentary photography. I focus on capturing genuine moments as they unfold, creating timeless images that feel both beautiful and authentic. I want your photographs to feel timeless and deeply personal. More than just documenting how your wedding looked, I want them to preserve how it felt—so that years from now, they still transport you back to those moments.
What is your most memorable career moment?
One of my most memorable career moments was photographing a wedding where the groom’s father was battling cancer. He unfortunately passed away a few months after the wedding, and I was asked to photograph his funeral.
It was an incredibly emotional and meaningful experience, and I felt deeply honored that they trusted me to document such an important moment in their family’s story. It reminded me that photography is about more than just creating beautiful images—it’s about preserving memories, honoring relationships, and remembering the moments that matter most. both joyous and sorrowful.
What inspires you?
Since I first picked up a camera 16 years ago, a major source of inspiration for me has always been ‘Magnum Photos’ and the incredible documentary photographers who have shaped the way stories are told through images. Their ability to capture honest moments, human connection, and the emotion of everyday life has deeply influenced how I approach photography.
That same philosophy guides my wedding work—observing rather than interfering, preserving genuine moments, and creating photographs that capture not just what happened, but the feeling that makes each story unique.
How would you describe your working style?
My priority is helping you be fully present on your wedding day. The best photographs happen when you’re focused on celebrating with the people they love—not on the camera. I take a calm, unobtrusive approach, giving you space to experience each moment naturally while documenting it as it unfolds.
Building trust is an important part of my process. I want you to feel comfortable knowing that I'll guide you when needed, step back when the moment calls for it, and always photograph your day with care, intention, and honesty.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
I shoot digital and film photography. Super 8 & 16mm motion picture film.
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
Yes, I have a base wedding package that can be customized to fit your celebration. Whether you need additional hours, an engagement session, rehearsal dinner, or other add-ons. I’m happy to tailor a collection that best suits your needs.
What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?
Super 8 & 16mm film! I love how motion picture film allows you to relive not just what happened, but the atmosphere and emotion of the moment. The subtle movements and organic quality create something that feels like a family heirloom—a piece of your story that can be revisited for generations.
For me, Super 8 and 16mm film beautifully complement my documentary approach. It slows things down, encourages intentional storytelling, and preserves the fleeting moments that make your wedding day truly yours. It is a piece of your story that can be revisited time and time again.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
Japan, South Korea, All over Europe.
Who is your dream client?
My dream clients are couples who truly appreciate photography and believe in the value of preserving their story through meaningful images. They are drawn to honest moments, thoughtful composition, and photographs that feel timeless rather than trendy.
How do you select music for your films?
Music plays a big role in setting the tone of your wedding film, so I like the selection process to feel personal. Some couples choose a song that already holds special meaning to them, while others prefer to collaborate with me to find something that matches the mood and story of their day. If you don't have a particular song in mind, I'm happy to choose music that reflects your personalities and the atmosphere of your wedding day.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
My biggest advice to couples is to slow down and be present. Your wedding day will pass by faster than you think, so take time to soak in the moments and enjoy the people around you. Don’t worry about everything being perfect—the unexpected and unplanned moments are often what make the day truly memorable.
