Tell us about your business!

We are Robert Marcillas Collective, led by Rob and Arnau, and are photographers based in Barcelona and working worldwide. Our vision blends an editorial eye with a natural, timeless feel — capturing authentic emotions with elegance. From intimate elopements to multi-day destination weddings, our goal is always the same: to create imagery that feels alive, personal, and enduring.

What would you like couples to know about you?

That we truly care about telling their story. Every couple is unique, and our approach is to be present,  empathetic, and creative — so the photos become an honest reflection of who they are and what the day felt like.

Where are you based?

We are based in Barcelona, Spain.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes — destination weddings are at the heart of what we do. We regularly travel across Europe and beyond, from Italy and France to the UK, the US, and further afield. Exploring new places and cultures is part of what inspires our photography.

How would you describe your style?

Laid back-Editorial, natural, and timeless. We focus on capturing spontaneous emotions while maintaining a refined and stylish aesthetic.

What is your most memorable career moment?

When Rob and Arnau were awarded Europe Wedding Photographers of the Year at Bodaf in 2025. It was such a meaningful recognition for our work and inspires us every day to keep creating with passion and authenticity.

What inspires you?

People, light, and travel. Every couple and every destination brings new energy and stories — we adapt and evolve with them while keeping our vision consistent.

How would you describe your working style?

Calm, observant, and intuitive. We like to blend into the day, giving space for real moments to unfold  naturally, while stepping in with gentle direction when needed to create imagery that feels both effortless and intentional.

Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?

Both. Digital gives us versatility and reliability, while film adds a timeless texture and depth that resonates deeply with us and our couples.

Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?

Yes. Our collections are designed to be flexible, and we work closely with each couple to ensure coverage fits their exact plans and priorities.

What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?

Our handcrafted wedding albums. There’s something incredibly special about seeing your story printed and  bound by hand — it transforms the photographs into a tangible heirloom that couples can relive and share for generations.

Where would you love to travel to for work?

We’ve been lucky to document weddings across Europe, but Japan and Morocco are high on our dream list. Both offer such a rich mix of culture, landscapes, and aesthetics that would be incredible to capture.

Who is your dream client?

Couples who value photography not just as a service, but as an art form — people who trust us fully,  embrace creativity, and want their story told in an authentic yet elevated way.

What is your advice to couples getting married?

Focus on what truly matters to you — your love and your people. Trends will fade, but the emotions and memories of your day are forever. Choose suppliers you connect with, and then allow yourself to enjoy every second of the celebration.
