Tell us about your business!

I have been featured in three well-loved wedding blogs, with more exciting publications on the horizon. I have also been interviewed for the TODAY show for an expose on recent wedding industry trends.

My clients and wedding vendor teams have raved about their own experiences: “When I hired Nikki, I knew I had nothing to worry about.” - the Mireleses “The photos are absolutely everything we dreamed of and more. I can’t thank (her) enough for capturing it so beautifully. Thank you for making such a special moment even more memorable.” - Lauren & Gabby. These are just some of the many reviews I have received.

I am now available for 2026 bookings.

What would you like couples to know about you?

My experience will always be very client-centered. My couples deserve to feel like a million bucks on their wedding day, like they can fully trust me to document it authentically. It is my job to not only maintain their expectations but also to exceed them. Being able to navigate a spectrum of needs throughout the day is my greatest strength. I take a lot of pride in knowing that the experience goes beyond the wedding day and my couples feel well taken care of.

Where are you based?

I am based in the Southwestern United States but travel worldwide. Specifically Yuma, Arizona but I mostly work in major cities like San Diego, LA, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Tucson and Phoenix.

Do you travel for weddings?

I do! I have documented weddings in Japan, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Iceland, Italy as well as all over the US. From New York all the way down to Florida, Central US like the great state of Texas, all over the west like Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Arizona, Nevada. Then all up and down the Pacific North West and down through California!

How would you describe your style?

My wedding photography is documentary and editorial style - the balance of documenting beautiful chaos and artfully crafted moments. My editing is very unique to the wedding with emphasis on maintaining gorgeous skin tones and a cinematic film-like feel.

What is your most memorable career moment?

I’ve had several “holy sh*t I made it” moments but the most recent one is when I was documenting a destination wedding in Mexico and at the end of the day everyone jumped in the pool after closing. One by one the guests are jumping in and then everyone looks at me and goes “your turn!” without hesitating. I made sure everything was out of my pockets, shoes off, gear off and I jumped in the pool fully clothed. Moments like that really stick out to me and remind me why I love my job.

What inspires you?

Cinema, art, experiences outside of the digital world. I love people watching and spending time outside observing light and shadows. I have a few photographers that continue to inspire me to push myself however, I think the most inspiration comes from when I go outside or when I’m bored.

Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?

I shoot both film and digital. I love the creative freedom digital gives but I also love the spontaneous, unreplicable art of film. I take my mini-polaroid camera with me to wedding days and it is one of my favorite gifts to my clients.

What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?

It seems really random but I’ve grown to absolutely love the collection of polaroids I give my clients at the end of the day. It started as a kind of why not include it type of thing and then it became one of my favorite ways to end the wedding day. The couple gets an instant sneak peek gallery of what the day looks like and can relive it with all of their friends and family.

What is your advice to couples getting married?

My advice for couples getting married is the day is about you and your love but also bringing the people who love your love to celebrate with you. Do not ever let anyone make you feel like you have to do anything that isn’t authentic to what you want. It feels so cliche but I always admire couples who are capable of saying “no, we don’t want to” because it takes a lot of strength to push against the pressures of a standard wedding day, let alone large destination weddings or even intimate settings. Which is why I love the concept of The Anti-Bride. I've always loved the idea of pushing against the expectations and doing whatever you want whenever you want!
