Tell us about your business!

Excited to be celebrating 9 years of photographing and working with gorgeous couples on their wedding day! I’ve shot weddings in Sweden, Portugal, Scotland, England and all over Australia. I shoot for couples who have a penchant for colour, relaxed portraits and lots of guest captures!

What would you like couples to know about you?

That I am a bit of a chameleon and can easily adapt to different atmospheres. This helps me get the very best out of my couples during portraits.

I’m based in Melbourne, Australia.

Yes!

What is your most memorable career moment?

Anytime I’ve been lucky enough to capture private vows. To capture something so very private and sacred is never lost on me.

What inspires you?

My clients' love stories. Its so inspiring to me that they entrust us to capture their days. That in itself! Otherwise film photography and its ever evolving results. Fashion photography, the icons of portraiture (Vivian Maier, Martin Parr), finding little spots along my travels that would be gorgeous for a portraits.

How would you describe your working style?

Calm, confident and kind. My clients often give me similar feedback, that my energy on the day was so calming.

What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?

Film! To me its the perfect combination of nostalgia and colour and surprise. Safe to say I am obsessed with it and so happy to see its resurgence in wedding photography. 

Who is your dream client?

Couples who appreciate a gallery that encapsulates the vibe and lots of portraits of their guests, the ambiance of the room and relaxed and genuine portraits of themselves. Big points for film lovers!

What is your advice to couples getting married?

Try to avoid keeping too tight of a timeline. The best candid moments happen when nothing feels rushed and you have time to be present with your loved ones.
