Tell us about your business!

I am an inclusive photographer who deeply values respect and diversity; I welcome all love stories and celebrate what makes you uniquely you.

My main goal is to make all my couples look good and feel great on the day, working closely with you to capture your celebration in a way that is completely authentic to who you are.

Do you travel for weddings?

Most definitely! I am based in Australia, splitting my time between Sydney and my hometown of Brisbane, but you'll often see me migrate to the Philippines and Europe during the winter months. I absolutely love travelling for weddings all across Australia and anywhere worldwide. To be honest, no matter where your wedding is, local or afar, it’s always a vibe and an adventure!

How would you describe your style?

My style or vibe is where a loose editorial look meets documentary photography. Creating and capturing candid moments and festive energies. Offering an artful blend of modern and classic photography, I focus on honest, unscripted moments. I've coined my vibe as "Bold Romantic Nostalgia.” I am all about it!

What is your most memorable career moment?

My most memorable career moment was shooting my first international wedding. Standing on the other side of the world, capturing a couple's most beautiful day, and realising that this is my actual 'job' was completely surreal. It was the moment I realised how far my passion for photography could take me

What inspires you?

Heavily inspired by music, street culture, fashion, the arts, architecture, and old films. I draw a little bit of each into my style. Different cultures also inspire and ground me. I love spending time in my mum’s birth country of the Philippines, getting to know another side of myself.

But above all, people are my biggest inspiration. I love good people, big personalities, and bold looks! Everyone has a unique personality and a story in their eyes to tell, and it just makes me want to pick up a camera and photograph them. I firmly believe everyone deserves to be captured beautifully and immortalised with a great photo.

How would you describe your working style?

My working style is relaxed, collaborative, and entirely low-pressure, no awkward poses with me! I focus on building a calm connection with you and your guests so everyone can let their guard down, allowing me to naturally capture those honest, candid moments. When my team and I shoot both photos and video, we work as one cohesive unit with the same objective and style. We seamlessly blend into the background to let your day flow organically, stepping in with just a bit of direction when needed to make you look effortless and beautiful.

Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?

I shoot with both digital and SLR film cameras. But my favourite is my 35mm point-and-shoot camera, which gives me the freedom to shoot a little looser, giving you that nostalgic, candid look.

Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?

I’m always more than happy to create a custom package tailored to specific needs.

What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?

Without a doubt, 35mm film is my absolute favourite service to offer. There is something entirely magical about it, it’s inherently nostalgic and romantic. Unlike digital perfection, film photos feel more candid and real. It's not always perfect, but that's the best part of it, the authenticity of the moment.

Who is your dream client?

My dream clients are generally young professionals who have great taste but aren't terribly ostentatious. They have fun, quirky, or creative personalities. I love working with couples who want to collaborate with me to create incredible creative images. I find it exciting to shoot couples who aren't afraid to take risks and choose not to do the usual cookie-cutter weddings.

What is your advice to couples getting married?

Don't get trapped by standard wedding traditions and throw out the rule book. Build a day that reflects your unique style and personalities, and don't be afraid to take a few risks! On the day, trust your vendors, let the timeline breathe, don’t treat the photo as a task and have fun with it. When you are relaxed and having fun, that’s when the magic happens and the best images are made.
