Tell us about your business!
I started my business in 2016 after taking a chance on something I loved and turning it into my career. Over time, it has evolved into a practice rooted in connection. This work has shaped the way I see people, relationships, and life. It has allowed me to witness so many stories up close and has influenced my perspective and the way I approach storytelling.
What would you like couples to know about you?
I am deeply attuned to people and emotions in a room. I pay close attention to the subtle shifts and energy that often goes unnoticed. The awareness allows me to anticipate moments before they happen and document them in a way that feels true to your experience. My calm and intuitive nature is something my couples can rest in, allowing them to feel at ease and present throughout the day.
Where are you based?
I’m based in Dallas, Texas.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely! I travel often for weddings and am always open to destinations both within the US and internationally.
How would you describe your style?
Artfully composed. My work has an editorial edge, rooted in a documentary approach. I balance moments with refined, artful portraits that feel natural rather than constructed. My laid-back, intuitive nature allows for space and moments to happen naturally, while I step in with direction when needed.
What inspires you?
I’m inspired by light, movement, and people. Film photography, fashion, architecture, and old family photographs all influence how I see and document a wedding day.
How would you describe your working style?
Calm, observant, and intuitive. I know when to gently guide and when to step back completely. I read the energy of the day and adjust accordingly so that everything flows naturally and never feels intrusive.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
Both! I find that the mediums of digital and film complement each other beautifully, from the old-world storytelling of film to the crispness of digital. Blending the two allows me to document a story in a way that truly honors life.
Who is your dream client?
My dream client is someone confident in who they are, someone who values authenticity over perfection and embraces the beauty of life as it is.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
Come as you are. Fully soak up life as it happens, the good, the bad, the chaotic. Embrace the people around you, fully love, and don’t focus on perfection for the sake of a good photograph. Life is so fleeting, and every moment we live is worth being documented with those we love and cherish. One day, you’ll look back and want to remember the minute details of the hands of those you loved, you’ll want to hear their laughter in a photograph, and the energy you felt when you embraced each other. Let go of the idea of perfection that social media has placed around you.
