Tell us about your business!
I take on only 15 couples per year to give each couple the time, care and attention they truly deserve.Â
With over 350 weddings under my belt and over a decade of experience I have learnt an exceptional ability to read the room, knowing when to step in with warmth and guidance or gently blend into the background, seeing the day through the eyes of a guest, capturing real, authentic moments. Couples and their guests always praise me for my kind, calming presence, fun energy, and ability to capture genuine love and connection.Â
Being married also allows me to deeply connect with couples, intuitively understanding the emotions of their day, allowing more than just a record of how it looked, but preserving how it felt.Â
My commitment to you will go beyond photography, not only will I tell your story exactly as you experienced it, but I will also provide value and care that exceeds expectations. Read my client reviews here.
What would you like couples to know about you?
I value the relationships I build with my couples and the love and trust they give in return.
Capturing a wedding isn’t something I take lightly. I want my couples to look back and say I was the best hire they made for their day!
Where are you based?
I am based in London.
Do you travel for weddings?
I do. I take on 15 weddings a year and half of those are in Europe and the US.
How would you describe your style?
If I had to describe my style, I would call it documentary with an editorial edge that oozes emotion and joy!Â
About 80% of the day, I’m in documentary mode, photographing the quiet moments, the wild joy, and all the big and little in-between moments. My goal is to capture the real energy and emotion of your day as it naturally unfolds. Then, during the morning prep, group photos, and portraits, I’ll give a bit of direction to create those timeless, beautiful portraits that still feel like you.
What is your most memorable career moment?
I grew up watching all the Jim Henson movies and TV shows from Sesame Street to The Muppets to the film Labyrinth, so I was overjoyed when the late, great Jim Henson’s granddaughter asked me to photograph her three-day wedding. I even got to meet Catherine O’Hara, the mom from Home Alone and Beetlejuice!
Even though I was already a huge fan of their family’s work, it was an absolute privilege to be part of such a beautiful and wholesome wedding and legacy. They welcomed me into their celebration and made me feel like part of the family. I came away with a full heart.
What inspires you?
Music, travel and continually educating myself and growing as an artist.
How would you describe your working style?
My couples always comment on my fun, kind and calm nature. I work hard to make everyone feel at ease so they ‘let me in’ to their day, letting me in means i can capture people authentically.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
Both.
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
Yes, I have a starting price but everything is customized to the needs of the client.
Who is your dream client?
My dream couples are the kind of people who exude a sense of fun and ease, appreciate fashion, style, and aesthetics, and revel in the joy of celebration. They’re kind, down-to-earth souls who share my love for authentic, heartfelt moments, value artistry, experience, and skill, and seek a premium yet personal, stress-free experience.
How do you select music for your films?
It's a feeling, some weddings feel slower and more romantic, some more upbeat and fast. I choose based on the couple and the feeling of the day.
Any advice to couples getting married?
I’ve been married for 13 years and in the business for over a decade:
Pick four elements of the day that are most important to you and invest well in those vendors. I always believe catering, music, and florals are really important, they engage three of the senses: taste, vision, and sound! And of course, your photography. The person you choose doesn’t just need to be a talented artist, they need to be a good human, because they’ll be with you more than anyone else on the day.
You can’t please everyone, be true to yourselves.
