Tell us about your business!
I'm originally from the south of Germany and have been living in Hamburg for many years now. I started photographing at the age of 14 and even then, I knew that photography was my true calling in life. At 18, I began my apprenticeship, and by 21, I started as a freelancer and assisted for a lot of fashion photographers. After that, I shot my first wedding and since then, I've been capturing beautiful moments for people on their special day. I couldn't be more grateful!

I am based in the beautiful city Hamburg in the north of Germany.

Yes, I love traveling to my couples' favorite locations where they choose to tie the knot and where they share their personal stories.
How would you describe your style?
I describe my photography style as elegant, timeless, and honest. I take inspiration from classic portrait photography and editorial styles. My goal is to capture genuine moments and emotions, avoiding overly posed shots. I focus on storytelling and creating images that evoke real feelings. By keeping things natural and relaxed, I aim to produce photos that stand the test of time and reflect the true essence of my subjects.
What is your most memorable career moment?
My first beautiful wedding in the Tuscan countryside of Italy was one of the most memorable moments as a wedding photographer. Even today, I can still vividly recall the stunning sunset.
What inspires you?
For me, inspiration stems from a myriad of sources—encounters with diverse individuals, the raw emotions conveyed through music and films, and the poignant moments captured in images. Each experience resonates deeply within me, igniting a profound connection to the world around me and infusing my work with genuine passion and authenticity.
What motivates you to do what you do?
Creating something lasting and providing people with a visual memory fills me with more than happiness. When I look at the wedding photos of my great-great-grandparents, I am simply grateful for the person who captured that image at some point. And what is more beautiful than happiness that can be shared?
How would you describe your working style?
My working style can be described as open, empathetic, and professional. I believe in creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for my clients, allowing them to be themselves and express their true emotions. I approach each wedding with a genuine sense of empathy, understanding the significance of the moments I capture and the importance of making my clients feel valued and understood. I prioritize clear communication and collaboration, working closely with my clients to understand their vision and preferences, and incorporating them into the final result. Overall, I strive to create a positive and enjoyable experience for my clients while delivering high-quality work that exceeds their expectations.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
Currently only digital.
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
I actually offer two packages, but I'm always open to creating a customized one based on the customers' needs. My packages range from full-day coverage with an optional hourly extension and also include coverage for civil weddings. I'm incredibly flexible with my packages and always willing to tailor them to each couple's specific requirements—it all depends on individual needs.
What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?
My favorite product that I offer is my books. They stand out because they include a little extra for couples and their guests – a large book along with two smaller ones – which adds a unique touch to the experience.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
New York City! I visited there privately a few years ago and immediately fell in love with the vibe. The energy is just incredible.
Who is your dream client?
The perfect client for me is someone who truly values art and holds photography in high regard. They have a clear sense of identity and aren't afraid to pursue their unique vision. I feel lucky to already be working with many clients who fit this description. Ideally, my client trusts me completely!
What is your advice to couples getting married?
Stay natural and don't try to live for the photo, but for the moment. Authenticity is what should be visible in the pictures after years, not the pose. Choose your service providers carefully. Sympathy is just as important as the work they do. If possible, get a planner by your side who supports you; it greatly reduces pressure in many areas.
