Tell us about your business!

After living 6 years in Mexico, photographing high-end and destination weddings at the most stunning locations for couples of all nationalities, I have returned home to my birthplace in the south of Sweden and am now eager to take on Europe again.

With my background in fashion and my great love for documentary photography, portraits and exploring new places and cultures, I have found weddings to be the perfect blend of all that.

Where are you based?

I live in the south of Sweden, in Malmö, 30 min from Copenhagen international airport. During winter months ( October - March) I usually spend 2-3 months in Mexico.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. I have always traveled a lot for work all around the world!

How would you describe your style?

Elegant, emotional, free and candid.

What is your most memorable career moment?

It was not one specific moment. However, it was when I started to realize the wedding photography business was nothing what I expected it to be and a whole new exciting chapter in my professional life began.

What inspires you?

Nature, visually and mentally, It's where I gather my strength. When it comes to light, Romanticism landscape paintings and the Rococo era portraits, I could stare at those paintings forever. Also all my talented hard working photographer colleagues!

What motivates you to do what you do?

It really motivates me that within wedding photography I can blend together so many types of photography, portrait, landscape, architecture and documentary. One thing I realized early on with this job was that I am allowed to do what I love the most and at the same time make real people really happy. It is simply a win, win!

How would you describe your working style?

Easy going and convenient. I carry as little gear as possible and use mainly the natural and ambient light. I hear from many of my couples that they felt very comfortable having me around. It is such an emotional day, so it's very important to be able to be respectful and read a room quickly and know exactly when to step in or step back.

Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?

Only digital. However I did learn photography by only using analogue cameras and developing in the dark room. Actually, for the first time in my school life, I was the best one in my class and I begged the teachers to let me arrive earlier and leave later so that I could spend the most possible time the darkroom.

Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?

I always begin with sending my standard investment brochure, for couples to get an idea but I am always open to customizing it.

Where would you love to travel to for work?

In general Southeast Asia! So far I have only been to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Iceland is also definitely a must on my list.

Who is your dream client?

I feel that I have already met my dream clients many times. It is the couple who fully trust my process and give me creative freedom, and include me at the tables of their guests.

What is your advice to couples getting married?

Hire a wedding planner or at least a coordinator for the wedding day, you do not want any vendors to be asking you about boring (but very important!) logistics. Trust your gut. Don´t overrun your partner, communicate and remember it is a celebration of your love. Stay hydrated and eat properly throughout the day!
