A Seaside Elopement

Documented entirely on 35mm analog film and on camcorder video by Caroline Marchante, this seaside elopement was a day built around movement, tenderness, and the kind of beauty that doesn't ask for permission. From the quiet intimacy of getting ready together in the Cotswolds, to enjoying fish and chips by the seaside, to the raw, windswept cliffs of the Welsh coast near Cardiff, this day planned and styled by The House of Archive, celebrated relaxed elopements with an emphasis on togetherness and love.
The styling was natural and uncomplicated with vintage lace used as a veil. Textural florals complemented the bridal look and the natural surroundings. It felt less like a styled shoot and more like a film you'd want to watch twice.
