A Premonition of Love

"The instinctive sensation, upon first meeting someone, that you will one day fall in love."

Photographer Francesca Angrisano wanted to capture the emotion behind this beautiful phrase, which captures that instinctive moment, a premonition between two souls. Together with a creative team headed by Come le Ciliegie Weddings + Events, Francesca decided to tell the story of two strangers who, little by little, realise they belong to each other and fall in love.

The location for this editorial was the bare, minimal of a former ceramic plant, Officine Farneto, which was the perfect backdrop for the mood of this stunning editorial. Elegance and simplicity are key - from the wedding attire to the table setting - the colour palette was intentionally minimal to contrast the generous textural elements of the gown and florals. The few, thoughtfully curated styling details included beautiful floral arrangements by Nina e i Fiori and handmade ceramics by Madlen Ceramics. Papyros Studio stationery created on handmade paper in a clay texture and the decadent cake by Annikka Toni also complemented the neutral colour palette with a focus on texture. Linen and ribbons from Fati Amor, naturally dyed from plants and Mediterranean berries and roots and made in the picturesque Lake Como, also adorned the textural table setting.
