Tell us a little about yourselves!

We met in Greece 17 years ago, then I moved to Rome where we met again, and it was in this city that our relationship began. We are both doctors with very busy lives.

Why did you decide to get married where you did?

We wanted a place that represented the soul of this city. The ceremony took place in a hall in the Town Hall, a former deconsecrated church, in a historic part of Rome.

The lunch was held on a terrace in the city center with a breath taking view.

We wanted to stay in the city where our relationship was born and grew.

How many guests did you have?

About 20, including kids.

What was your budget? 

We didn't have a specific budget, but we wanted something intimate. In the end, we spent around €20,000.

Tell us about your outfits.

Since we weren't getting married in a church, we wanted something modern, elegant, and contemporary that broke away from the predefined norms of a “wedding dress.”

For the groom, we chose a classic Italian tailored suit that could also be worn on other occasions.

What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?

Easy going, stress-free, yet high-quality. Another important point that we didn't want to give up or compromise on was the photographer. The photos are the only things you have left as a reminder of this special day.

Any tips for couples getting married?

Organize something that represents you and it will be perfect.
