Tell us about your business!  

Zahra Studio is a destination wedding planning and creative direction studio based between Italy and Dubai. We design and produce multi-day celebrations across Europe and the Middle East, overseeing the entire process (from concept and strategy through to production) with a strong focus  n design, guest experience and the narrative coherence of the event. What makes us distinctive is the taste and elevated standards, also the artistic Italian background and the integration of floral design, which gives us a level of creative control and visual consistency that is quite rare in this industry.

What would you like couples to know about you?  

That we don't just plan standard weddings, we create unique events for our couples. Every project  begins with understanding who the couple truly is: how they live, what moves them, what they want  their guests to feel. From there, every decision (spatial, floral, visual, logistical) follows that thread.  Nothing is there simply because it's expected.

Where are you based? 

Between Italy and Dubai, working across Europe and the Middle East.  

Italy, it's where I am born, it's my DNA and its inherent sense of beauty cannot leave you, Dubai it's  home, for its cosmopolitan energy, where people meets and creates something breathtaking.

Do you travel for weddings?  

Yes, we are specialized in Destination Weddings, this is the core of our work!  

Zahra Studio was built entirely around the concept of destination, our work only exists when the setting is part of the story. Whether it's a centuries-old masseria in Puglia, a Villa on Lake Como, a private estate in the hills above the Amalfi Coast or the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the location is never just a backdrop, it's part of the experience.

How would you describe your style?  

Design-led, editorial, refined and sometimes minimal. We are not interested in decoration for its own  sake, we work with an intentional visual language that enhances the location rather than competing  with it. Each project has its own internal logic, its own palette, its own rhythm. We work toward  something that will look as considered in ten years as it does on the day.

What is your most memorable career moment?  

It was the joy of the first time that one of my first couple after more than 4 years after the wedding, told me that their guests were still talking about the atmosphere, their remembers as one of their best experience, not the flowers, not the food, but the feeling of the whole day. That was the  moment I understood that what we do, when done right, goes far beyond event planning.  We create something people carry with them. That stays with me every time I start a new project.

What inspires you?  

Nature, architecture, art, fashion, light and the specific character of our lovely couples. The relationship between them, their feelings, their special moments. The way a courtyard holds silence  in the early morning. The texture of old stone against fresh flowers.

How would you describe your working style?  

Structured, with a strong creative vision. I believe the planning process should feel as considered as the event itself, clear communication, thoughtful timelines and a working relationship built on  genuine trust. Couples often tell me that what they appreciated most was feeling completely at ease in the months of planning but also on the day. That ease is something we design for, and we build on each other's trust, it's not something that happens by chance.

Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?  

Yes, entirely. We don't offer standardised packages because we don't believe in standardised  weddings. Each collaboration is scoped based on the couple's vision, the complexity of the project,  and the specific services required, from full planning and creative direction to partial planning or  production support. We build the framework together.

What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?  

The full planning and creative direction experience, because it's where everything comes together.  When we oversee a project from the very beginning, we can build something genuinely coherent: the florals, the spatial design, the guest journey, the visual identity of the day. That process means that we have everything from the beginning planned, isn't something added at the end, it's part of the architecture from the start.

Where would you love to travel to for work?  

Japan or Korea are very high on the list. The relationship between space, silence, and intention in  Japanese design speaks directly to how we think about events, nothing excessive, everything  considered. I'd also love to work more across Italy, the south of France and in Portugal, where the light and the landscapes have a quality that I find endlessly inspiring for intimate, editorial  celebrations.

Who is your dream client?  

A couple with a clear sense of who they are and the confidence to let that define their celebration.  People who value quality of experience over quantity, who want their guests to feel something, not just see something beautiful. Typically internationally-minded, design-aware, and genuinely excited to co-create something that couldn't exist for anyone else.

What is your advice to couples getting married?  

Be selective, invest in your emotions, the experience, not just the aesthetics. Think about what you  want your guests to feel when they walk into the room, not just what they'll see in the photographs.  And together we can choose a team you genuinely trust, then you can relax and live your day  completely and create new unforgettable moments.
