Wedding | Millie & Jamie
Tell us a little about yourselves!
We are in our early 30’s and both designers born and raised in London. Jamie works in Graphics and I work in Interiors. We live in South East London with our two cats and spend most of our time planning our next holiday!
Why did you decide to get married where you did?
We always knew we wanted to get married in London, both being from here we don’t have as strong of a connection to anywhere else. We wanted it to be in a restaurant as the food was an important part of the day, and Spring is one of our all time favourites (and luckily in one of the most beautiful buildings in the City).
How many guests did you have?

Tell us about your outfits.
I wore Style 074 by Own Studio which was a super lightweight mikado silk dress. I loved the feeling of it so much compared to so many other dresses I tried that were heavier satin. It was a joy to wear! I wore my Mum’s veil and wedding shoes which felt super special.
Jamie wore a double breasted Navy suit from Scott Fraser Simpson with custom Duke & Dexter shoes and his Dad’s tie.
What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?
That the day was just fun and relaxed vibes for us and everyone there. We didn’t want it to feel overly planned, we wanted everything to feel considered but not fussy.
Any tips for couples getting married?
Don’t overthink small decisions and trust your gut, the day should reflect your personalities over anything else.
