Tell us a little about yourselves!

We’re Diana and Arthur. We met in Cyprus while working in the same office. What started as a conversation about a work-related task quickly turned into long evenings together, hikes, dinners, and adventures around the island. Our first non-work date was a hike at Aphrodite’s Rock, one of the places that still holds a special meaning for us today.

We share a love for travel, music, sports, meaningful conversations, and discovering new places together. Whether it’s wake surfing, cycling, exploring a new city, or simply having breakfast with our dog Benya, we enjoy building a life filled with experiences. If there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that the secret to a happy relationship is always talking to each other.

Why did you decide to get married where you did?

Cyprus is where our story began. It’s where we met, fell in love, and created many of our favourite memories together. From Aphrodite’s Rock to countless weekends exploring the island, Cyprus has always felt like home. And we saw GettaVision’s Green Lawn Celebration photo, which was full of atmosphere, and immediately wanted to find out where it took place, as it felt very close to us.

Choosing to celebrate our wedding here felt like the most natural way to honour the place that brought us together.

How many guests did you have?

We celebrated with 40 of our closest family members and friends. We intentionally chose an intimate wedding so we could spend meaningful time with every guest and create an atmosphere that felt warm, relaxed, and deeply personal.

What was your budget?

We didn’t start with a fixed budget in mind. Instead, we focused on the atmosphere and experience we wanted to create, prioritizing the details that felt most important to us and would leave lasting memories for both us and our guests.

Tell us about your outfits.

Our outfits were designed to feel timeless, personal, and completely true to who we are.

Diana’s dress became one of the most meaningful parts of the entire wedding. After searching through countless lace samples, the inspiration unexpectedly came from Princess Leia’s wedding dress. From that moment, it became clear that the gown needed something extraordinary and historical. The final design incorporated rare antique lace dating back to the 19th century, including Alençon, Venetian, and Battenberg lace, combined with Indian silk, handcrafted silk cord details, and over 300 silver eyelets. The result was a dress that blended romance, history, craftsmanship, and a touch of rebellion, perfectly reflecting Diana’s strong personality. I was drawn to the dress because it perfectly balances strength and femininity, bold and confident, yet soft and effortlessly elegant. Paired with my Prada Antiqued Leather Pumps, it felt like the perfect finishing touch.

Arthur chose a classic suit and his elegant look that complemented the aesthetic of the day while feeling comfortable and authentic to his style.

What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?

Creating a wedding that felt genuinely ours. We didn’t want to follow traditions simply because they were expected. Every decision was guided by one question: does this feel like us? We wanted our guests to leave feeling they had experienced our story rather than attended a standard wedding.

I wanted my bridal morning to be as relaxed and personal as possible.

My photographer and I even planned a couples’ shoot in the fields before the ceremony. The day started with heavy rain, but everything turned out better than we could have hoped! Those dramatic clouds created a magical atmosphere and added something truly special to the entire day.

Were there any elements that were important for you to incorporate?

Personality and meaning were at the heart of everything. We wanted every detail to tell a story, from the carefully chosen materials and textures, such as linen, wood, velvet, and antique lace, to the music that has accompanied our relationship from the very beginning.

Music was especially important to us. One of the most memorable moments of the day was a joint performance by the two of us, which became both a surprise and an emotional highlight for our guests.

Any tips for couples getting married?

Remember that the wedding is ultimately about the two of you. Focus on what genuinely matters to your relationship instead of trying to meet everyone else’s expectations. Trust your vendors, stay present throughout the day, and don’t stress over the small details, your guests will remember the emotions, not the schedule.

Are there any vendors that you would like to tell us a little more about?

We were fortunate to work with a team that truly understood our vision and shared our attention to detail. From the wedding planner who guided us through every step of the process to the talented creatives who brought our ideas to life, every vendor contributed to making the celebration feel effortless, personal, and unforgettable.
