Sunset at the Caverns

The creative team aimed to craft an intimate and otherworldly elopement where the couple would exchange vows amidst nature and their closest friends. To make the experience as immersive as possible, the team organized the day like a real wedding. The ceremony was held by candlelight inside stunning caverns at sunset, followed by a relaxed reception at a mountainside cabin. As a documentary and editorial style photographer, Abigail Tulenko sought to capture photos that felt authentic and vibrant.
The bride wore three outfits: a pale grey silk nightgown from Hansen & Gretel while getting ready, a retro lace Avantlook camisole dress adorned with jewelled brooches for the ceremony, and a vintage white party dress for the reception. The team wanted the bride to radiate retro charm with an ethereal, free-spirited feel. Her jewelry was designed by Wisal Studio.
Beyond creating an editorial, the project served as an opportunity to road trip with friends, share laughter, and collaborate - resulting in genuine memories of friends enjoying their time together.
