A Sculptural Garden Soirée

This Sculptural Garden Soirée was inspired by the ceremony space designs observed by Satin Bow Events in Europe and explored the interplay of colour, texture, and shape. Photographed by Mia Turner at Beresford Estate, this distinctive reinterpretation introduced unconventional shapes to the Australian wedding scene, blending modern aesthetics with sculptural florals by La Jardin to craft a new style of ceremony space.

An essential aspect of the concept involved experimenting with contrasting textures and themes that might not typically be combined, such as blending chrome and mirrored finishes with sculptural fabrics and raw organic florals. The creative team allowed the fabrics to guide their process, fostering spontaneity and creativity throughout the day. This approach resulted in a dynamic environment that felt authentic rather than overly polished. Leaving the raw taffeta edges exposed was a deliberate choice by Satin Bow Events, celebrating the beauty of imperfection.

Ultimately, this editorial was about more than visual appeal; it was a journey into how colour, texture, and shape can tell a meaningful story.
