A Romantic Countryside Escape

This editorial planned and styled by Lovers Lane Weddings & Events was bold in its custom details and intimate in its presentation, where each aspect was intentional, sculptural, and thoughtfully crafted. Romance was reimagined with an artful and subtle approach at The Convent Hunter Valley.

Styling was kept minimal and elegant and featured shades of white, ivory, toffee, and chocolate brown, establishing a sophisticated and minimal foundation.The bride wore a corset top as well as a custom basque-waist gown in luxurious champagne satin, complemented by a tiered veil, setting the theme: modern couture with a twist on tradition. 

The ceremony took place against a minimal backdrop, with toffee roses by Petal Bang providing a sculptural centrepiece. Inside Circa 1876, the reception was enveloped in luxurious draping and adorned with vintage tableware and elegant stationery. Other elements of this editorial were subtle yet thoughtful; martinis and ice sculptures, and a textural wedding cake.

Captured in photos and film by Rogue Weddings with additional camcorder-style storytelling by Social Romances, the shoot explored contrasts; sharp and refined, yet enveloped in softness.
