Tell us a little about yourselves!
We’re two people who just got married! We live in San Francisco, love music and coffee and cooking, and wanted all these aspects to be featured in our wedding day.
Why did you decide to get married where you did?
San Francisco City Hall just works. It’s gorgeous. We spent the remainder of our day adventuring through our favorite parts of the city. We felt like the whole of San Francisco was our venue.
How many guests did you have?
Our parents and photographers – 6 people total.
What was your budget?
We just knew we wanted to be as minimal as possible.
Tell us about your outfits.
Ron wore a custom-made suit by Daniel George that he already owned. He also wore a vintage Hermès tie that we found from my favorite thrift store down the street from us.
Besides my Galvan London dress and Erica Elizabeth veil, I wore vintage items that I already owned prior to planning our wedding – Armani coat, Jimmy Choo shoes, and a Bottega Veneta handbag. I sourced all of these items from the same thrift store where we found Ron’s tie.
What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?
To be low-key. To not feel rushed. To execute a day that was entirely us, unencumbered by industry expectations.
Were there any elements that were important for you to incorporate?
The city of San Francisco, because it's where we live and where we met.
Any tips for couples getting married?
Find vendors who you trust and just let them do their thing.
Are there any vendors that you would like to tell us a little more about?
We are so lucky to have had a photographer like Kelly Mour capture our day. We let her take full artistic control, and the outcome exceeded what we could have imagined. Like, are you kidding?! Just look at these photos… WOW!
My florist Das Luz was incredible. Her bouquets brought so much life and color to our day.
My stylist Fiona at Urban Beauty Loft was an absolute professional and a sweetheart. She brought my vision to life, and I felt beautiful.
