Real Wedding | Begoña + Pablo

Tell us a little about yourselves!

We were very close friends before being a couple. We have lot of things in common like music, travel and also had common friends, so it was a very natural progression for us to get together!

How many guests did you have?

We celebrated with 240 guests at the breathtaking Palacio Portocarrero, after our ceremony at Palma del Rio.

Tell us about your outfits.

I was very sure about what I wanted to wear. Marcela Mansergas has been always in the top of my mind. She is very romantic but at the same time she loves to take a risk with her approach, and I love that! She has very good taste and when I met her in her studio, everything was very easy and we connected from the very beginning. I am so glad I had my dress made by her and would go back to her a million times over! Pablo decided to get his suit from Suitz due to of word of mouth.

What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?

Of course! I wanted the best professionals with me. My first move was to call the best photographer Nousnous, arrange an appointment with my dress designer Marcela Mansergas, call my uncle who was our caterer La Ermita de la Candelaria's owner - organise a meeting with the graphic designer 1nart to prepare everything relating to stationery and call our florist El Puentecillo!

Were there any elements that were important for you to incorporate?

The sun, I think! Our wedding ended up being on a fantastic, sunny day in October.

Any tips for couples getting married, particularly during the pandemic?

There are mainly two! Firstly, don’t anticipate what it is coming because the best is yet to come. And enjoy the wedding from the very beginning! Your loved ones are there to celebrate your marriage, so don’t worry about anything, as the the day passes very fast!

Are there any vendors that you would like to tell us a little more about?

Besides our photographer Nousnous Photography, we can't recommend our caterer La Ermita de la Candelaria enough. The food is really amazing, and the whole team are very meticulous and helpful, and ensure that everything runs smoothly and seamlessly.
