Olivia and Morgan from Alchemia are a photography and videography team located in the south of France, dedicated to capturing authentic love stories. Influenced by art, fashion, and emotion, they document ceremonies with elegance, sensitivity, and authenticity. Having been life partners for 10 years since meeting in Australia, Alchemia craft timeless memories rich in meaning and connection.

Where are you based?

Provence, in the south of France.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes, we do! We’ve been fortunate to travel to different places like Italy, Greece or Turkey, and we’re really happy to follow our couples anywhere in the world.

How would you describe your style?

Our style is a balance of documentary and editorial storytelling. We work intuitively, focusing on real moments, natural emotions, and subtle details as they unfold. With a nostalgic and refined approach, we create honest, timeless images and films that feel true to each story.

What is your most memorable career moment?

The first time we traveled to follow a couple over several days for their wedding in Greece. We felt like very close friends.

What inspires you?

As we also work in fashion, we are very inspired by this world and interior design. We find all these elements in weddings that we love to shoot. Each couple has its own approach and style. We also draw lots of inspiration from art, music and cinema.

How would you describe your working style?

We are a photo and film duo, and also partners in life, so working together feels natural. We bring the same approach to both photography and videography, capturing every moment with emotion and authenticity.

Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?

Both digital and analog.

Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?

We have a few different packages but we’re more than happy to custom packages depending on the needs.

What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?

A multiple-day coverage that enables us to tell story as accurately as possible, while allowing us more time to capture beautiful portraits and explore our creativity.

Where would you love to travel to for work?

We love traveling to Italy and Greece, and our dream is to capture a wedding in Japan. Beyond that, we are drawn to weddings held in places connected to art, whether contemporary or historic, such as museums or architecturally significant venues.

Who is your dream client?

An intimate wedding with just a few guests, for a confident couple who wants to make the most of their day and have a taste for art, thoughtful design, and attention to detail, and are open to collaborating with us on project ideas, décor, and more.

How do you select music for your films?

We try to choose music that leaves space for the natural sounds and speeches, as this is very important to us. We’re also drawn to vintage music with a nostalgic feel. That said, it also depends on the mood and vibe of the day.

What is your advice to couples getting married?

Choose your team of wedding vendors from the heart. Then trust them to let go completely and enjoy every minute!
