Tell us about your business!
I’ve been photographing for the past ten years, starting out in fashion, street style and events, then soon found my love for wedding photography. I’ve always had a soft spot for weddings, ever since I worked in a wedding venue when I was a young teen. That feeling of the day has stuck with me and now I get to capture the memories for my couples to remember for life.Â
I only take on a limited number of bookings in a year as I want to personally know each one of my couples and provide a positive experience from the moment they book me, to well after I’ve curated their final wedding gallery. I also offer a luxury fine art album add-on, as well as access to a print shop through every client gallery, and love to photograph past couples throughout their lives after the wedding.Â
Where are you based?
I’m based in Brisbane, Australia.Â
Â
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! I photograph weddings all over Australia and internationally. I also shoot the European wedding circuit during their summer, and I’ve just opened bookings for UK and Europe in summer 2025.Â
How would you describe your style?
Documentary-like with an editorial feel. My colour grading is true to tone, yet elevated and polished. I want the moments captured from a wedding day to stay timeless for the years to come and be framed on the walls of a home.Â
What motivates you to do what you do?
The admiration from my couples when they receive their wedding photos. Nothing gives me more joy than hearing how my couples have had such a wonderful experience with me throughout the entire process, and truly love the moments I’ve captured for them.
How would you describe your working style?
I’ve been told I bring a very calming presence on a wedding day and aim to make my couples feel relaxed and at-ease so they can just focus on having the best time. I love being both in the action and hiding in the sidelines. It’s a balance between observing and capturing the little moments; or I will give gentle guidance where needed, particularly to couples during their portrait session, as being in front of a camera can be quite daunting. I’m also able to read a room and know when I need to step in (or out). In a past life, I could have been a wedding planner, but my creative eye for capturing a moment brings me far too much joy.
What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?
Pre-wedding sessions are some of my favourites to do, particularly for couples who have also booked me for their wedding. I offer these at a special price with any wedding package booked and they’re a perfect way to get to know how I work and eases any nerves couples may have for their day. The imagery can also be used on save the dates, or even a wedding website, and captures the feeling of this exciting stage of their lives. Couples can have fun with this too and opt for a different vibe or location to their wedding day.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
I’ve been itching to shoot a wedding in New York, and I wouldn’t say no to a French chateau. Honestly, take me anywhere in UK/Europe and I’ll be happy as a clam!
Who is your dream client?
They’re confident in their own style, love a fashion moment, are not afraid to think outside of the box, place importance on the little details, and trust me completely to capture their day.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
To remember what the day is all about - celebrating the love you have for each other. Don’t feel like you need to adhere to any traditions; your day should reflect who you are as a couple and that’s all that matters.
