Tell us about your business!

Hi, I’m Claudia! I am an analog film photographer and videographer specializing in the Las Vegas elopement. I love to capture the magic and essence of couples during their special day. My work is documentary-style with notes of nostalgia, playfulness and kitsch. I love to capture how moments feel on film.

What would you like couples to know about you?

I love couples that are willing to lean into letting go and being fully present with their partner during their day! The most important thing to me is that you enjoy each and every minute. I encourage this as it not only allows you to savor the day but also reflects in my work. My process is all about infusing romance and creativity into unique, timeless and candid imagery.

Where are you based?

In the heart of vintage Las Vegas!

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely! I love traveling and am open to anywhere and everywhere.

How would you describe your style?

My work is full of different film mediums, whether that be 35mm, medium format, instant film or super 8. I love to play around with them all! I am constantly inspired by colors, textures and details. Some of my favorite shots tend to come from double exposures. I approach shooting with an artistic eye as well as a thoughtful mind.

What inspires you?

All things vintage! The whimsy and fantasy that comes from being head over heels in love. I absolutely adore vintage wedding photographs, fashion, color grading. I am really inspired by Sophia Coppola’s color palettes. I am also always inspired by the love I witness between two people. Your love stories.

What motivates you to do what you do?

I am motivated first and foremost by storytelling. I love to be able to recreate your wedding day through a series of photos. Things you may have forgotten in the rush of the day, an “Oh, I remember when that happened!” or an image that will always remind you of exactly how you felt in the moment. I just love, love! Plain and simple. Hopeless romantic, forever.

Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?

Film, only! Digital just doesn’t fit my practice. 35mm / 120mm / polaroid / super 8.

Where would you love to travel to for work?

France! My husband is French and we have taken countless trips to the countryside. There are so many beautiful hidden gems that would be a dream to photograph. I feel a real connection to the landscapes there and the peace that can be found, juxtaposed with gorgeous châteaux and architecture.

What is your advice to couples getting married?

Do what you want to do! Whether that be eloping, or any other detail. The most important thing is that you are happy with your wedding day and are doing it in a way that feels authentic to who you are as a couple. Incorporate as much personal flair and fantasy into your day. It can be absolutely anything you want it to be.
