Tell us about your business!
I’m Paulina, a wedding, editorial and portrait photographer living in Paris. I work mainly in France, Italy, Spain and Greece.
After working in fashion and shooting fashion shows backstage, I became a full-time photographer eight years ago. I completed photography school in Warsaw. I have now captured over a hundred weddings and have been published internationally multiple times. I truly believe I have the best job in the world!
What would you like couples to know about Paulina Weddings?
No matter how beautiful your final images are, it’s very important that you enjoy yourself throughout the day and that things feel effortless, as this is what you will remember whenever you look at your wedding gallery. I love to create a safe and relaxed environment so that you can be yourselves and feel at ease in front of the camera. My aim is that your day is captured authentically, while ensuring the images are beautiful at the same time!
I also want you to relive the moments captured for years to come. I value true connection and trust with my clients.
Where are you based?
I’m based in Paris and am originally from Poland.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, absolutely. I work mainly in France, Italy, Spain and Greece!
How would you describe your style?
My photography is in a documentary and editorial style. I strive for my images to be elegant and timeless.
What inspires you?
Any form of art! Fashion, music, cinema, painting, people, traveling, light, nature, flowers. Paris!
But my biggest inspiration are the people I meet. I am inspired by connections and emotions, and the way my couples express their love.
What motivates you to do what you do?
I love that my images make my couple feel something and help them relive their wedding day. I feel lucky to be able to photograph such an important day in my couples lives.
I also love working with other wedding professionals and being able to work as a team to create something beautiful.
How would you describe your working style?
I try to be as discreet and invisible as possible during the wedding day. I am very relaxed, non-intrusive and easy going. I love capturing real moments, and work together with my couples, so that moments are never forced or posed. I want to capture my couples true personalities and let things unfold naturally.
I am also very organised and am supportive to my couples in the lead up to their wedding. This approach allows me to stay completely relaxed on the wedding day, knowing that there is trust between my couples and I. This also helps that everything runs smoothly on the wedding day.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
Both! I have recently been shooting with film more and more.
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
I have a variety of packages. However, in order to meet my couple's different needs, I am also happy to create a custom package. I shoot beautiful elopements and intimate weddings, as well as multi-day weddings.
What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?
I work with an amazing fine art printing lab, which produces high-level albums and prints.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
I love Italy. I’ve been there many times and in many places, but there is still so much to discover. The people, the light, the food!
Who is your dream client?
My dream client is someone who appreciates art and truly values photography. They have a strong sense of who they are and what they want - and aren’t afraid to do things their way.
I am so lucky to work with so many of my dream clients already. My ideal client is one that trusts me!
What is your advice to couples getting married?
Trust your vendors. Don’t worry about pleasing others, just focus on your relationship and what makes you happy. All you need to worry about is having fun! The day goes so fast, so enjoy the moment without worrying about the little things. Stay in the moment and enjoy the fact that your loved ones are all together in the same room celebrating your love!
