Julia Löffler is a wedding photographer based in South Germany who loves those fleeting, unforgettable moments, when everything feels larger than life. Her path has taken her though different cities in Germany, Italy, Spain, and throughout Europe with great sensitivity and style. From intimate elopements to multi-day-destination weddings, Julia Löffler's work is the result of a combination of deeply felt moments and loving design - full of poetry, authenticity, and elegance.

What would you like couples to know about you?

I studied media management and trained as a yoga teacher - and I am a very sensitive and warm hearted person. I care about my couples as they were friends and I truly love those interpersonal relationships. 

Where are you based?

I’m currently based in Southern Germany, close to Stuttgart. Still, I dream of one day living in Mallorca - drawn by its light, colors, and slower pace of life.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes, I travel throughout Europe and beyond: From Lake Como to Spain, UK, US and abroad. 

How would you describe your style?

My work combines emotion and design - creating imagery that feels poetic, authentic, and effortlessly elegant and romantic.

What is your most memorable career moment?

I’m grateful to have received the Germany Wedding Award (Silver, 2021) and to see my work featured in British Vogue, 50 Color Moodboards and other magazines. Still, nothing compares to the heartfelt honour of travelling the world to photographing weddings.

What inspires you?

Travel constantly inspires me - new cultures, landscapes, fashion and moods broaden my perspective and spark creativity. I’m drawn to how people express their character through their style and presence. Every destination wedding feels unique, offering that sense of discovery I love so much.

How would you describe your working style?

Calm and intuitive. I quietly observe, letting authentic moments emerge, stepping in only when gentle direction helps shape images that feel honest and intentional.

Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?

Yes my collections are intentionally flexible. I collaborate closely with each couple to ensure the coverage aligns perfectly with their plans and priorities. However, most of my clients do book the full day or multiple day option.

What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?

Besides photography, I truly enjoy creating content. I love capturing raw, unfiltered moments with my phone - the in-between scenes that often hold the most emotion and authenticity.

Where would you love to travel to for work?

Malaysia, Singapore, Portugal, Greece and especially Puglia in Italy. There’s something about the atmosphere in Puglia: the light, the textures, the slow rhythm of life, that feels deeply inspiring to me.

Who is your dream client?

I’m drawn to couples who are confident and open, who love to express themselves and celebrate life fully. They appreciate creativity, fashion, and thoughtful design - and they trust the process, allowing space for connection and authenticity to shine through every image.

How do you select music for your films?

My fiancé, who does the videography, loves Frank Sinatra and Michael Jackson. But he always takes inspiration from the couple - listening to the music from their wedding day and shaping the film’s soundtrack around their personal style.

What is your advice to couples getting married?

Stay present and enjoy every moment with your partner. Don’t stress about little things - the only thing that really matters is the two of you. And if someone spots you in your dress before the ceremony, no worries - it just makes the day even more real.
